The black-robed woman stepped forward to knock on the door.
Two gatekeeping monks opened the door, and upon seeing a woman, appeared somewhat reserved, and respectfully said, "Respectful greetings, Female Donor."
The black-robed woman bowed in return, sincerely saying, "I wish to meet the host of your temple, Master Cloud Yunjian. Could I trouble you two esteemed monks to notify him?"
"I'm sorry, Master Cloud Yunjian is out handling affairs and is not in the temple," one of the gatekeeping monks truthfully stated.
However, the woman did not believe it; she knelt on the ground and pleaded, "Please, I have a matter of great urgency with Master Cloud Yunjian. The matter is of utmost importance and cannot be delayed, or the price will be dreadful..."
"Master Cloud Yunjian truly is not here," the monk said somewhat flustered.
"If you won't let me in, I will not stand up again," the woman resolutely declared.
