~~Present Day~~
Inside Robin's House
The warm glow of the warm sun bathed the small house in a bright light.
The scent of old parchment and ink lingered in the air, mingling with something else—something unspoken, thick with tension.
Luffy sat back in his chair, smirking, his arms lazily draped behind his head as he gazed at Robin.
"Heh… she was so damn adorable back then," He muttered, half to himself.
Robin, who was seated across from him, her elegant fingers tracing the worn pages of an ancient book, smiled slyly. "You're reminiscing about our first meeting, aren't you?"
"Yup," Luffy admitted, his grin widening.
Robin chuckled softly, shaking her head. "You really are a strange man, Luffy."
Luffy merely winked.
Inside the room, the quiet tension filled the air—a tension born from both learning and something far more dangerous.
It was their fourth lesson, and by now, Robin was beginning to suspect that Luffy was far less interested in learning how to read Poneglyphs and far more interested in distracting her.
"Focus," Robin chided, her sharp blue eyes narrowing. "If you keep looking at me instead of the text, you're never going to learn anything."
Luffy smirked.
"But Robin," He drawled, "you're way more interesting than some old rocks."
Robin let out a soft sigh, shaking her head, though the corner of her lips twitched in amusement. "Ancient texts, not old rocks."
"Yeah, yeah," Luffy waved a hand dismissively before leaning forward, resting his chin in his palm. His eyes gleamed mischievously. "You know, you're kinda cute when you get all serious like this."
Robin raised an eyebrow, her expression unreadable. "Are you here to learn, or are you just here to flirt?"
Luffy's grin widened. "Can't I do both?"
Robin exhaled a quiet laugh, flipping the page in the book. "If you paid as much attention to the text as you do to teasing me, you'd be fluent by now."
Luffy chuckled, but to her surprise, his eyes flickered to the page, scanning the symbols. Then, without hesitation, he pointed to a section and read aloud, his pronunciation almost perfect.
Robin's teasing smile faltered as her heart skipped a beat.
She stared at him. "That's… correct."
Luffy tilted his head. "Of course it is. You're a good teacher."
Robin didn't reply immediately. She had assumed he was just playing around, but here he was, absorbing knowledge faster than even she had when she first started. That sharp mind, hidden beneath layers of carefree charm, sent a strange warmth through her chest.
She swallowed. "Impressive. But don't get too cocky."
"Maybe I should start calling you Professor Robin," He grinned and mused, his voice low and teasing. He leaned over and whispered softly, his warm breath trickling her skin, "Or, what about 'Master Robin'?"
Robin bit her lip to keep from smiling. Annoying man…
Luffy's face was much closer than before, his breath hot against her skin as he leaned in.
"You smell nice," He murmured, his voice low and teasing.
A small shiver ran down her spine.
He was so close. His lips just barely grazed the shell of her ear, and Robin had to fight the urge to tilt her head and let him go further.
She swallowed. "Luffy…"
"Hm?" His fingers brushed against her thigh, tracing soft, lazy circles over the fabric of her skirt.
Robin bit the inside of her cheek, her pulse quickening.
This man—this ridiculous, infuriating man—was making it so hard to concentrate.
And the worst part?
She loved it.
Luffy, completely aware of his effect on her, grinned and pressed a soft, fleeting kiss beneath her ear.
Robin inhaled sharply. 'He's relentless…'
"You're being bold today," She murmured, her voice softer than she intended.
Luffy hummed. "I'm always bold."
Robin shook her head and tried to reach for her pen.
Smack~!
A gasp escaped her lips.
Robin's entire body jerked as Luffy's hand landed on her backside, a sharp and deliberate slap against her soft, round ass.
Her eyes widened, and her face flushed red. A shudder ran through her body, and before she could stop it, a quiet, breathy moan slipped past her lips.
Luffy tilted his head innocently. "You okay, Robin?"
Robin turned her head slowly, meeting his smug gaze. "You're getting awfully bold, Luffy…"
Luffy grinned. "You liked it."
Robin swallowed, trying desperately to maintain her composure. But the way he was looking at her, the dark amusement in his gaze, the knowing smirk tugging at his lips, made her stomach twist with heat.
She could still feel the imprint of his hand on her skin, a lingering warmth spreading through her body.
Luffy's fingers traced the curve of her thigh, and Robin knew—knew—that if she didn't put a stop to this, she was going to lose all control.
But maybe…
Maybe she wanted to lose control.
Her walls, the ones she had carefully built around her heart, were crumbling.
Luffy had wormed his way into her locked heart, and no matter how much she tried to hold back, she was already his.
Completely and utterly his...
Luffy leaned in again, his lips brushing against her jaw this time. "Your lips look really soft."
And then, before she could react, Luffy closed the distance and stole a kiss.
Robin gasped softly, her body tensing at the unexpected contact. His lips were warm, teasing, pressing against hers for just a second before he pulled back with that infuriatingly smug grin.
"Luffy," She warned, her voice a mix of exasperation and something else—something dangerously close to want.
"What?" He leaned back, laughing. "You looked like you needed a break."
Robin narrowed her eyes, but she could feel the heat rising to her cheeks. "You're impossible."
"And you're beautiful," Luffy countered smoothly.
Robin exhaled shakily. 'Damn him.'
With a sharp movement, Robin slammed the book shut.
Thump!
Luffy blinked in surprise. "Huh?"
Robin stood up abruptly, her chair scraping against the floor, and before Luffy could react, she climbed onto his lap, straddling him with a look of pure determination.
Luffy's eyes widened slightly. "Oh?"
"You're driving me crazy," Robin murmured, her voice low and sultry as she cupped his face.
Luffy's smirk returned. "Good."
Robin didn't hesitate. She leaned down and captured his lips with hers, kissing him fiercely.
Luffy hummed in approval, gripping her waist as she pressed against him, heat flooding between them. He could feel her smile against his mouth, that usual, composed, untouchable Robin completely unraveling in his arms.
Her fingers tangled in his hair, nails grazing his scalp in a way that made him growl in satisfaction.
Robin never lost control.
Yet here she was, losing herself completely.
Luffy's hands slid lower, fingers pressing against her waist as he deepened the kiss, tilting his head just enough to draw a quiet moan from her lips.
Robin felt like she was melting. She never let anyone have this kind of effect on her.
And yet, this man, this ridiculous, infuriating man, had somehow wormed his way into her heart with that cocky grin and carefree confidence.
After what felt like forever, she finally pulled away, breathing slightly unevenly.
Luffy licked his lips. He murmured, his voice husky. "Guess I really am a good student."
Robin chuckled, brushing a strand of damp hair from her face. "You're a menace."
Luffy laughed, tightening his hold on her. "Guess we're done with lessons for today."
Robin hummed. "Perhaps…"
She leaned down, pressing a lingering kiss to his jaw. "Or maybe I should give you a punishment for distracting me."
Luffy's grin widened. "Now that sounds fun."
Robin laughed, resting her forehead against his, completely lost in the moment.
The book lay forgotten on the table, its ancient words untouched for now.
After all, there were other lessons to be learned tonight.
