Luffy swore he could hear the collective sound of Marines collapsing behind him.
Tch. At least she's still better than the absolute nympho she became in the original…
…Though only by a slight margin.
Before Hancock could launch into another dramatic declaration, Luffy decided to introduce his crew.
"This is Zoro," Luffy gestured.
Hancock gave a small nod. "A swordsman, I see. Strong, no doubt."
Then, Luffy turned to Kuina.
"And this is Kuina."
The moment Hancock's gaze landed on Kuina, the atmosphere shifted. Her pleasant expression froze. Her sharp eyes narrowed ever so slightly.
The air grew tense.
Zoro—who was usually clueless about this kind of thing—sensed the danger immediately.
This is bad.
He took a step back.
Kuina, however, didn't. She held Hancock's gaze fearlessly.
An unspoken challenge crackled between them.
Luffy groaned, already feeling a headache coming.
For fuck's sake…
He sighed, stepping between them. "Alright, alright, break it up. Hancock, Kuina, follow me inside."
Zoro instantly turned away as if he hadn't seen anything.
The sailors, meanwhile, gritted their teeth in envy.
And just like that, Luffy found himself leading two powerful women into his private cabin.
----
Inside the dimly lit cabin, the air was thick with tension.
The gentle rocking of the ship provided a steady rhythm, a contrast to the storm of emotions about to unfold within.
Luffy stood before Boa Hancock, his arms crossed, his expression serious. Kuina leaned against the wall, her katana resting in her hands, her sharp eyes watching carefully.
Hancock, the proud and imperious Pirate Empress, stood with an unreadable expression. Yet, beneath the surface, her heart pounded in her chest like a war drum.
Luffy took a deep breath before speaking.
"I have the ability to heal any wound," He began, his voice steady. "That means... Kuina can cut off the part of your skin that bears the branding—"
A sharp gasp escaped Hancock's lips.
Luffy continued, meeting her gaze. "And once it's gone, I can heal you instantly. But—"
"I don't care," She interrupted, stepping closer.
Luffy blinked. "Huh?"
Her delicate fingers grasped his wrist tightly.
"I don't care how painful it is," Hancock said firmly, her violet eyes glistening with emotion. "Please, help me."
A small, warm smile crept onto Luffy's lips.
"Alright," He nodded. "But this is gonna hurt like hell, Hancock. You sure you can take it?"
Hancock's hands trembled, but her resolve didn't waver. "I have endured far worse in the hands of those monsters. This... this pain will be nothing compared to that."
Kuina, who had remained silent, couldn't help but glance at Hancock with newfound respect.
The number one beauty in the world was standing in front of them, half desperate, half determined, willing to suffer excruciating pain just to erase the mark of her past.
Luffy sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "Alright then... take off your top so we can begin."
Hancock hesitated for a moment.
Even though she had long fallen for Luffy, undressing in front of a man was something she had never done before.
Her fingers slowly moved to the knots of her red qipao. With each loosened tie, her breath quickened.
The silky fabric slid off her shoulders, revealing her smooth, porcelain skin.
Finally, the mark was exposed...
The horrific brand of the Celestial Dragons, burned into her flawless flesh like a curse she could never escape.
Kuina gritted her teeth, her grip on her katana tightening.
Damn those bastards... They did this to her?
Luffy exhaled sharply, his eyes darkening.
I'll kill every last one of those damn Celestial Dragons one day.
It was not for her but because all those trashes deserved death.
He stepped forward and placed his hands on Hancock's bare waist, pulling her close.
A gasp escaped her lips, her body shivering from his sudden touch.
"Luffy..." She breathed.
But Luffy wasn't thinking about anything inappropriate. His hands firmly held her in place as he looked at Kuina and nodded.
"Do it."
Kuina unsheathed her sword with a chilling hiss.
The room's temperature seemed to drop as the razor-sharp blade gleamed in the dim light.
She took a step forward, her keen eyes locked on the ugly mark.
Hancock tensed. Her nails dug into Luffy's back.
"Hold still," Kuina murmured.
Luffy's grip on Hancock's waist tightened.
"On three," He whispered. "One..."
Before he could even reach two.
Slash!
Hancock bit down on Luffy's shoulder hard as unbearable agony exploded across her back. Her muffled scream sent chills down Kuina's spine.
Blood splattered onto the wooden floor.
Luffy winced, feeling her sharp teeth sink deep into his flesh, but he didn't move.
Damn, she really went for it...
His shoulder burned, but his focus was solely on Hancock.
The slave mark was gone—carved away in a single, precise motion.
Hancock's vision blurred with pain. Her knees nearly buckled, but Luffy held her up.
"Almost done, Hancock. Hang in there."
His Haki-infused palm hovered over her bleeding wound.
A golden glow radiated from his skin, spreading a warm, soothing energy into her torn flesh.
The pain began to fade.
Hancock's breath hitched as she felt the unbearable agony being replaced by a gentle warmth. Her wound closed before her eyes, her skin regenerating at an impossible speed.
Kuina, watching closely, narrowed her eyes in fascination.
Within seconds, the bleeding stopped, and in its place, a new, smooth layer of unblemished skin had formed.
Luffy finally lowered his hand, exhaling. "It's done."
Hancock didn't move. She was afraid.
Afraid that when she checked the mirror, she would still see it—that she would still be branded by her past.
Slowly, she turned around, stepping toward the mirror on the cabin's wall.
She hesitated.
Then, she looked.
Her breath caught in her throat.
Nothing... There was nothing there.
Her back was clean.
It was flawless.
Tears pooled in her violet eyes.
The symbol that had chained her for years... The proof that she had been a slave... The curse that haunted her every day...
GONE.
Her knees gave out, and before she could fall, Luffy caught her.
"Hancock!" Luffy steadied her, his hands gripping her arms.
She buried her face into his chest, her shoulders shaking.
The mighty Pirate Empress—Boa Hancock—was crying like a child. She clung onto Luffy like he was the only thing keeping her from falling apart.
"T-Thank you…" Her voice was barely a whisper, but it carried the weight of her entire soul.
Luffy let her cry, gently running his fingers down her back in slow, comforting circles.
Kuina stood frozen, watching the scene unfold.
She had seen strong warriors cry before.
But this… This was different.
Boa Hancock—the world's most beautiful woman, a feared Warlord, was shattered in Luffy's arms.
Kuina exhaled slowly.
She really loves him… just like me and others.
The way Hancock clung to Luffy, the way her body curled into his like she never wanted to let go.
