The night was electric, buzzing with excitement and the heavy scent of alcohol. The villa was packed with high-profile guests, models, and A-listers, all eager to see just how wild Tony Stark could get when left unsupervised.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" Tony's voice boomed through the speakers, his grin wider than ever. Clad in his sleek, red-and-gold Iron Man suit, he stood in the center of the room, arms wide open. "Let's crank this party up to eleven!"
The crowd erupted into cheers, glasses raised, bodies moving to the heavy bass that pulsed through the villa.
Tony wasn't just tipsy—he was plastered. His movements were less controlled, his laughter louder, and his antics more reckless.
"Tony, maybe that's enough," Pepper murmured, gently tugging on his arm.
But Tony just grinned, leaning in too close, his breath reeking of whiskey.
"Come on, Pep… don't be such a buzzkill." He winked. "I'm fine! I've got this under control."
"That's what worries me," Pepper muttered under her breath, her eyes narrowing with concern.
But Tony had already tuned her out, twirling away and aiming his repulsor at an empty wine bottle that some daring model had tossed into the air.
"Watch this!"
BOOM!
The bottle exploded mid-air, sending glass shards raining down like glitter. The crowd cheered louder, completely oblivious to the growing tension in the room.
"Tony…" Pepper's voice was firmer now, her patience wearing thin.
But Tony was on a roll. He spotted another bottle, spun around, and fired—this time with a bit more power.
BOOM!
This one shattered dangerously close to the bar, sending splinters flying everywhere.
"Wooooo! More! More!" The crowd chanted, hyped beyond reason.
"Tony, you're crossing the line," Pepper warned again, but he barely acknowledged her.
"Relax, babe. I'm just giving them a show." Tony smirked, swaying slightly as he lifted his arm for another shot.
Seph stood a few feet away, leaning casually against the marble pillar, his piercing golden eyes taking in the chaos with mild amusement.
Natalia Romanoff stood beside him. Her eyes followed Tony's antics, but her lips curled in a smirk.
"Is he always this… unhinged?" She murmured, her sultry voice dripping with amusement.
Seph chuckled softly, his eyes never leaving the scene.
"Only when he's trying to distract everyone from something bigger." His voice was smooth, laced with knowing.
Natalia raised a brow, intrigued.
"And what's the bigger distraction tonight?"
Seph's lips quirked up as he leaned in slightly, his breath warm against her ear.
"You'll see soon enough."
Pepper was at her wits' end. She turned to Seph, her expression pleading.
"Seph… do something. He's out of control!"
Seph's eyes gleamed with something that made Pepper's heart skip a beat.
"Not yet."
"Not yet?!" Pepper hissed, her voice rising. "They're going to bring the house down—literally!"
Seph leaned down, his lips brushing against her ear as he whispered something that made her eyes widen.
"Let them." His tone was laced with mischief. "This is all part of the plan."
"Plan?!" Pepper pulled back, looking at him like he was crazy. "This is a disaster waiting to happen!"
Seph just chuckled, his eyes twinkling. "Trust me."
Pepper sighed, rubbing her temples as she mumbled under her breath.
"Why do I even bother…"
And that's when James 'Rhodey' Rhodes arrived.
Dressed in his military fatigues, he entered with an aura of authority that immediately shifted the mood. His eyes scanned the chaos, zeroing in on Tony's reckless behavior.
"Oh, hell no…" Rhodes muttered under his breath, his jaw tightening.
"Pepper," He nodded to her, his voice calm but urgent. "I'll handle it."
Rhodes didn't wait for more. He moved with military precision, making his way to the basement where the others' suits were. He needed a suit to take care of Tony.
Minutes later, Mark II burst through the floor, sleek and gleaming in silver. Rhodes landed with a heavy thud, the glow of the arc reactor illuminating his determined expression.
"Tony," Rhodes' voice echoed through the speakers, laced with authority. "Stand down. Now."
Tony turned, squinting slightly as if he was trying to focus.
"Heyyy! Look who finally decided to join the party!" Tony's grin was wide, but his eyes were a little too glassy.
"Tony… don't make me do this."
"Do what, Rhodey?" Tony staggered forward, his repulsor humming softly. "I'm just having fun."
"You're drunk, and you're dangerous right now."
"Oh, come on!" Tony laughed, but the light in his eyes was dimming. "We're just messing around."
Rhodes didn't flinch. "You're going to hurt someone."
For a moment, Tony's expression sobered, but it was gone in an instant.
"Not if you can't catch me."
And with that, Tony fired a repulsor blast—intentionally missing but sending a warning.
"Damn it, Tony…" Rhodes muttered. "Alright. You asked for it."
BOOM!
Rhodes tackled Tony, sending both of them crashing through the living room. Furniture shattered, glass flew, and guests screamed as they ran for cover.
"Oh, hell yeah!" Tony laughed, clearly enjoying himself.
Rhodes wasn't. "I'm taking you down, Stark."
"You can try, buddy."
BAM!
The two suits collided again, sending a shockwave through the villa. Punches were exchanged, repulsor blasts narrowly missed expensive art pieces, and furniture was reduced to splinters.
They fought with ferocity, slamming into walls and even taking the fight upstairs.
"You know," Tony quipped between blows, "if you wanted the suit so bad, you could've just asked."
"This isn't funny, Tony!" Rhodes growled, throwing a punch that sent Tony crashing through a glass wall.
Pepper watched the destruction unfold, her heart pounding. But when her eyes flickered to her side, she saw Seph standing there, calm as ever.
His eyes reflected the chaos, but his body language screamed control.
Pepper's nerves instantly settled.
"They're going to destroy everything…" She muttered.
Seph smirked, his voice a purr. "That's the idea."
Pepper blinked, her brows furrowing. "Why do I get the feeling you planned this?"
Seph leaned closer, his lips brushing her ear. "Because I did."
Pepper's breath hitched. "You're impossible."
"You love it." Seph winked.
Pepper's cheeks flushed, but before she could respond, Seph took her hand, gently pulling her away.
"Come on." Seph's voice was firm but gentle as he led Pepper, Hela, and Natalia out of the blast zone.
Hela raised a brow, her emerald eyes flickering with curiosity. "Why are we leaving?"
"Because," Seph smirked, "this isn't our mess to clean up."
Natalia shot him a sideways glance, her lips curving into a knowing smirk. "You're enjoying this a little too much, aren't you?"
Seph's grin was unapologetic. "Maybe."
Back inside, the fight between Tony and Rhodes had escalated beyond anyone's expectations. They were tearing through walls, breaking floors, and leaving destruction in their wake.
"Alright, that's enough!" Rhodes growled, his patience snapping.
Tony was breathing hard now, the alcohol finally catching up to him.
"Okay… okay…" Tony panted, raising his hands in surrender. "You win…"
Rhodes' suit powered down, his breathing heavy.
"Damn it, Tony…"
"I'm fine, Rhodey…" Tony slurred, his suit collapsing onto the broken floor. "Just… needed to let off some steam."
"You blew up your house." Rhodes' tone was dry.
"Yeah… but it was fun."
Rhodes shook his head, muttering under his breath. "Idiot…"
Seph and Happy had already evacuated the guests to safety. When they returned, the once-luxurious villa was now a war zone.
"Looks like a demolition crew had a field day," Happy mumbled, eyeing the wreckage.
Seph stood in the middle of the chaos, a satisfied smirk tugging at his lips.
"Perfect."
"Perfect?" Pepper echoed, her tone incredulous. "How is this perfect?"
Seph's golden eyes twinkled as he met her gaze.
"Because now…" He paused for effect, "…we can rebuild it however we want."
Pepper's eyes widened as the realization hit her.
"You…"
"Genius, isn't it?" Seph winked.
Pepper couldn't decide whether to be angry or impressed.
"You're impossible."
Seph chuckled, pulling her close. "And yet… you wouldn't have it any other way."
Pepper sighed, her lips curling into a reluctant smile. "God help me."
Rhodes didn't stay for long. He powered down the Mark II and flew off into the night, his expression playful.
"We'll talk about this tomorrow, Tony."
Tony just gave him a lazy salute; his body slumped against the broken wall.
As the chaos finally settled, Seph stood with his arms crossed, surveying the damage with satisfaction.
"Now…" He murmured softly, his voice barely above a whisper, "…the real game begins."
And in that moment, Pepper, Hela, and Natalia exchanged glances, each of them realizing that with Seph involved…
