Jaden woke up and sat on the bed trying to realize what happened as he looked around the room.
"This is my room isn't it?" Jayden thought as he stood up from his bed and walked around the room

His room was a huge bedroom painted white and brown with ornaments adorning it and as expected of himself, a heap of clothes, books and other stuff lying around the room.
"I remember now I was just getting my powers awakened then." Jayden smiled in excitement.
"Then my powers are....." Jayden's smile dropped as he remembered he had no clue what his powers were.
"Think, think, think you stupid brain". Jayden shouted in frustration as he pulled on his hair.
As Jayden was still throwing a tantrum, pacing around in circles he accidentally looked at himself in the mirror and stopped.
"What the hell?" Jayden whispered to himself as he looked at himself.
"My hair and eyes...it's golden why?"
Jayden's lips curled upward in a slight grin as he realized he looked kind of handsome and thought of how he would charm the girls at school.
As Jayden was still fantasizing about his new life with girls a floating paper entered his room and wanted slowly towards him.
"Marigold is that you?" Jayden questioned as he stared at the floating paper.
The paper wafted slightly up and down as if nodding to his question.
"Thanks." Jayden said as he picked the paper from the air.
Marigold was a fairy that came from his mother's power as her power was the ability to control spirits so there were a few fairies around the house that his mother had tasked with watching over her family.
Both father, daughter and son had a specific fairy always with them but unfortunately they couldn't see them.
Jayden looked at the paper and saw a note written on it in his mother's handwriting
'Hey sweetie it's mum.
Unfortunately due to a mana surge that sometimes happens to people when having their powers activated, which you were a victim of, you fainted midway so we carried you home.
Well you're father did, I was a bit tired and planned to leave you there but that's beside the point.
Your power is logic disruption.
Remember what we discussed about activating it go ahead and try it.
Your father and I had a few things to sort out so we will be back by dinner time

Jayden finished reading the letter and laughed.
"Okay, let's do this." Jayden mustered to himself as he sat on the bed and folded his legs in a meditating posture.
The purpose of activating a person's mana is for the person to feel the first time explosion and circulation of mana in one's body and controlling it and knowing the name of your ability helps.
"Logic disruption, right." Jayden breathed slowly, in and out concentrating on his mana core, directly below his heart until it happened.
A bright light blinded Jayden for a few seconds.
When he could see again he immediately realized he wasn't in his room.
"Where am I?!" Jayden said with a tint of alarm in his voice as everywhere was pitch black and he couldn't see past a few steps.
"Ohh it's finally that time, you've kept me waiting Jayden". A voice said behind him.
Jayden swiftly turned around at the familiar tone of the voice.
"Who are you?" Jayden questioned quizzically as he slowly walked forward.
"So you don't even know your voice, that's a shame." The voice had a tint of laughter in it.
The voice came closer and Jayden looked to see an almost identical copy of himself but taller and more mature standing in front of him.
"We don't have much time so I'll give a quick explanation. Release your mana and lines will appear all over your body.
The lines are logic and you have the power to break it, so when you want to activate you power say the word 'break' okay."
"What about..." Jayden was about to ask when his older self cut him midway his question.
"Time's up got to go see ya later." His older self said before he faded away and the blinding light obstructed Jayden's vision once more before he found himself in his room.
"What the heck, what kind of explanation is that?" Jayden shouted as he stood up from his bed.
Looking at himself again he saw golden lines linked to each other all around his body.
"What was that thing I was supposed to say again?" Jayden thought as he stretched his body.
"Yeah, that's right, BREAK".
All of a sudden all the lines shattered on his body and a surge of mana was emitted with force and Jayden's eyes started to give off an ethereal glow as his lips curved upward into a small grin.
"I think I'm getting somewhere."
