Their hearts stopped beating for a moment, but then the car stopped speeding. It stopped just two inches from where Finn was standing. The way the brakes were slammed on so suddenly made a screeching sound as the tires roughly grazed the narrow road surface.
Both Finn and Luca even held their breath for a moment, and they finally let out a sigh of relief when they realized that they were still alive. They silently watched as a man in a black suit got out of the car. His eyes were covered by a pair of large sunglasses, despite the cloudy day. Finn immediately scoffed loudly when he recognized that man.
"Did you invite us here just to kill us?" Finn asked the man who casually leaned his body against the sleek black car that had just stopped in front of him in irritation.
"Did I scare you, Finnie?" The man in the black suit asked back instead of answering. "But I think you look more upset than scared. Is it because I ruined your intimate moment with your boyfriend?"
