Chapter 782: Surrounded by Beauties

Tang Yan, diving for the first time, seemed a bit clumsy in the water compared to An Yi. However, with Bruno looking out for her, she managed to navigate the underwater environment. Despite her caution, Tang Yan slipped on a coral reef, nearly losing her balance. Bruno quickly steadied her, wrapping an arm around her waist to prevent her from falling.

The close proximity made Tang Yan blush furiously. Luckily, they were underwater, and her dive mask and breathing apparatus concealed her expression. Even so, her heart raced.

Bruno patted her shoulder reassuringly, signaling for her to continue. She nodded, and with his guidance, they reached the ocean floor.

Ahead, An Yi enthusiastically waved at them—she seemed to have discovered something exciting.

As Bruno and Tang Yan approached, they saw a large fish hiding in a hole within the coral reef, cornered by An Yi. An Yi gestured excitedly, clearly eager to catch it. But underwater, without proper tools, catching a fish was easier said than done.

When Bruno reached out to grab the fish, it darted out of the hole with a sudden burst of speed, escaping. The fish fled past An Yi, who lunged in its direction but missed, nearly losing her balance in the process. Her awkward tumble was both amusing and endearing.

More Adventurers Join

Seeing that the area was safe, Bruno signaled to the surface, indicating it was time to bring down more people. Tang Yan nodded, and Bruno ascended.

At the stern of the yacht, Vanessa and the others eagerly awaited his return.

"How was it, Bruno? Is it fun down there?" Vanessa asked impatiently as Bruno removed his breathing apparatus.

"It's great," he replied with a smile. "The conditions are perfect. Are you all ready to join us?"

Liu Yan shouted excitedly, "We've been ready forever!"

Bruno chuckled. "Alright, let's go! Time to explore the underwater world!"

Vanessa decided to stay on the yacht to oversee things as the group prepared to dive.

The waters around San Salvador Island were a treasure trove, and Bruno didn't want to leave empty-handed. This time, he prepared tools, including a basket tied to a rope, for collecting underwater finds.

Treasures of the Sea

Beneath the waves, the seabed was littered with peculiar shells, luminous and smooth. Coral reefs teemed with colorful fish, and occasionally, an octopus would dart by, leaving a cloud of ink when startled.

Everyone eagerly placed their finds into the basket—starfish, shells, and even a large, beautiful tree-like coral retrieved by Tang Yan. An Yi, always bold, managed to collect several large conch shells, much to Zhang Liangying's envy. Zhang trailed closely behind An Yi, determined to gather her own trove of conch shells.

After some time, Bruno checked the clock and signaled for everyone to ascend. Reluctantly, the women swam back to the yacht, their baskets brimming with treasures.

A Quiet Evening

By the time everyone was back aboard, the sun was beginning to set. To make the most of the evening, Bruno steered the yacht to a secluded cove where they could try their hand at fishing.

The women eagerly took up fishing rods, lining the edges of the yacht in hopes of catching something. However, the fish seemed to have vanished, possibly sensing the presence of this energetic group. Despite their efforts, not a single fish was caught.

Tang Yan, the least patient of the group, soon abandoned her fishing rod with a huff.

Meanwhile, Liu Yan had already showered and was sitting in a deck chair, carefully drying her hair with a towel.

Though the shortest among the women at just over 160 cm, Liu Yan's figure was unmatched. Her slender waist, full chest, and long, shapely legs made her an alluring presence.

"Not interested in fishing?" Bruno asked, placing a bottle of ice-cold Sprite on the table in front of her. Taking a sip from his own bottle, he sat down beside her.

Liu Yan glanced at the others still fishing and shook her head. "Doesn't seem like anyone's having much luck."

"Maybe the current isn't in our favor," Bruno replied with a shrug.

Unexpected Proximity

As they chatted, An Yi appeared, visibly bored.

"Bruno, fishing is so dull," she complained, plopping herself down on the armrest of Bruno's chair.

Still dressed in her swimsuit, having not bothered to change after diving, her nearly bare figure was on full display. Leaning against Bruno, she showed no concern for Liu Yan's presence.

The situation was slightly awkward for Bruno, though Liu Yan seemed unfazed, maintaining her composure with quiet grace.

Despite the close quarters and playful banter, the atmosphere was lighthearted and convivial, with laughter and smiles all around. The group's shared adventure had forged a bond that made the day truly unforgettable.

Seeing that Bruno didn't immediately respond, An Yi tugged on his arm, shaking it playfully. "Come on, Bruno. Let's go diving again later, okay?" she pouted coquettishly.

"Still want to play? It's getting dark. If you really like it, we can go again tomorrow," Bruno replied, shaking his head.

Just then, Tang Yan emerged from the cabin after her shower. "What? We're going diving again tomorrow? Great!" she exclaimed, clearly having enjoyed herself immensely today.

Bruno glanced at Liu Yan, who smiled faintly but said nothing. Finally, he nodded. "Alright, if you all want to, we'll go again tomorrow."

"Yes!" An Yi squealed with excitement and plopped herself onto Bruno's lap, throwing her arms around him before planting a playful kiss on his cheek. "I love you so much, Bruno!"

Awkward Reactions

Tang Yan, witnessing the affectionate scene as if she didn't exist, scoffed. "Liu Yan, maybe we should leave them alone. We wouldn't want to ruin their 'moment,' would we?"

Liu Yan, ever composed, gave a faint smile. She set down her towel, picked up the bottle of Sprite Bruno had handed her earlier, and gave him a silent nod before following Tang Yan out of the room.

"See what you did? You scared them off. Don't act like this, okay?" Bruno said, gently pushing An Yi off his lap after the two women left.

An Yi pouted, clearly reluctant. "Oh, I get it. I'm interrupting your plans, huh? What's the matter? Have you set your sights on Liu Yan now?" she teased with a smirk. "Her figure is to die for, isn't it? Bet you can't resist!"

"Don't be ridiculous," Bruno said, giving her a stern look.

"Don't deny it. You men are all the same—saying one thing but thinking another," she muttered before heading toward the lower deck.

Just then, Zhang Liangying emerged from the cabin. She greeted Bruno with a smile and nodded politely at An Yi as she passed by.

"I guess it's my turn for a shower," An Yi said, humming a cheerful tune as she disappeared below deck.

Evening Conversations

"Did you enjoy yourself today?" Bruno asked Zhang Liangying, pulling up a chair. "Would you like something to drink?"

"Oh, no thanks," she replied softly. "We had so much fun today. Thank you, Bruno."

"It's nothing," he said with a smile. "Tang Yan already mentioned wanting to dive again tomorrow. Looks like she's hooked!"

"Diving is really enjoyable," Zhang Liangying agreed. "We collected so many beautiful conch shells and starfish today. They'll make wonderful gifts for friends back home."

"They definitely will," Bruno said, taking a sip of his Sprite.

At that moment, Vanessa entered the cabin.

"Still no luck with the fishing?" Bruno asked with a chuckle.

"Not a single bite. Do you think it's the bait?" Vanessa speculated.

"We're using fresh shrimp from the market," Zhang Liangying said, looking a bit disappointed. "But the fish just aren't interested. We saw so many underwater earlier—where did they all go?"

"The fish are out there somewhere," Bruno reassured them. "If we don't catch any today, we'll try again tomorrow." He glanced outside. "It's getting dark. Vanessa, should we head to shore and start setting up camp?"

"Sounds like a plan," Vanessa agreed with a nod.

Setting Up Camp

Bruno steered the yacht to the shore, where everyone worked together to unload the camping equipment onto a rubber dinghy and transport it to the beach. The small cove soon buzzed with activity as Bruno directed the women in setting up the tents.

They hadn't brought many sleeping bags, but given the mild climate, the women decided they weren't necessary.

Dinner was a beach barbecue—a far cry from the comforts of city life, but all the more rewarding because they prepared it themselves. Fortunately, they had brought charcoal from the island. On the sandy beach, they built a fire, and Bruno took charge of grilling sausages and chicken wings. Every piece he cooked was quickly snatched up, making him the star of the night.

After dinner, the moon rose high, casting its gentle light over the tranquil beach. The cool sea breeze made for a perfect evening as everyone gathered around the campfire to chat.

An Yi, holding a camcorder, delighted in reviewing the day's footage, especially the treasures they had collected from the sea. She was already planning another diving trip the next day to gather even more.

Later, she suggested playing a game. The group decided on "hot potato," with the loser having to perform a song, dance, or tell a joke as a forfeit.

Even Bruno, the only man among them, was roped into the fun.
