"I liked the way you dealt with him," Bella admitted. Her voice was quieter now. Not only now. Whenever he dealt with anyone in front of her, she felt hot.
The smirk on Leo's lips deepened. "I noticed."
Bella's cheeks warmed slightly. "You noticed?"
"I noticed the moment you started looking at me differently," Leo said, his voice low.
She tried to look away.
Leo caught her chin gently between his fingers and turned her face back toward him. His touch was light but firm. He wasn't going to let her hide.
"Don't suddenly become shy now," Leo said. His voice was soft but firm.
"I wasn't shy," Bella protested. Her eyes darted away.
"No?" Leo asked. His eyebrow rose.
