Everyone nearby began smiling. Leo had spent most of the celebration refusing to let anyone else hold his daughter and even the simple task of placing her in her own crib seemed to require considerable emotional preparation.
Finally, with obvious reluctance, he lowered Princess into the third crib. He adjusted her little blanket, checked that her head was comfortably supported and brushed a finger over her cheek before straightening up.
"There," he murmured, looking down at her. "Papa is right here."
Princess moved her tiny lips, apparently satisfied with the arrangement. Leo, however, remained beside her crib instead of returning to Bella.
Jay noticed and snorted. "Bro, she's in a crib, not being sent to another country."
Leo gave him a cold look. "Do you have something important to say?"
