Several days had passed since Dhumketu's death.
The world was still in chaos.
Governments, intelligence agencies, special forces, private military groups, and mercenaries across the globe were desperately gathering information about Om and his family.
At the same time, the Indian government wanted to protect Om at any cost.
They knew that a person with abilities like his could become an incredibly valuable asset.
But that was also the problem.
How were they supposed to protect him and his family from the most powerful nations on Earth?
And more importantly...
Where was Om?
That question wasn't troubling only governments and organizations that wanted to find him.
There were also people who genuinely cared about him.
People who were worried.
People who missed him.
Although even they couldn't understand how the boy who had been living among them had suddenly awakened such unbelievable powers.
At that moment, Seema and the Joshi family were gathered at the Mayor's house.
Everyone looked worried.
Everyone looked exhausted.
They had all seen Om on television that day.
The Om they had seen wasn't the boy they knew.
He looked like someone completely different.
Someone far beyond human.
None of them had ever imagined witnessing something like that, even in their wildest dreams.
The Mayor continued pacing back and forth across the room.
Finally, he stopped and looked directly at Kathwani.
"He's not at home."
"He's not at the office."
"Did anyone check the clinic?"
Kathwani nodded from the sofa.
His voice was filled with concern.
"Mr. Mayor, we've checked every place Om could possibly go."
"But neither he nor his family are anywhere to be found."
"We have no idea what happened to them."
The Mayor clenched his fists.
Frustration finally exploded out of him.
"Then where are they?!"
"Did the ground swallow them?"
"Did the sky take them away?"
"There has to be somewhere we missed!"
His voice trembled.
"We don't even know whether that boy is alive or not."
"Every time we faced trouble, Om stood beside us."
"And now when he's the one in trouble..."
"We can't do a single thing for him."
The room fell silent.
Then Ayush spoke.
Trying to comfort his father, he said,
"Dad, I don't think anything can happen to Om."
"You saw him, didn't you?"
"He's not an ordinary person."
"He has incredible powers."
But instead of the Mayor responding, Mr. Joshi spoke.
His expression was serious.
"That's exactly the problem, son."
Everyone looked toward him.
"It's not just us anymore."
"The whole world now knows that a boy with extraordinary powers exists."
"And you don't understand what that means."
His voice grew heavier.
"A person like that becomes one of two things."
"A threat."
"Or a tool."
Nobody said a word.
Mr. Joshi continued.
"By revealing his powers in front of the world, Om shocked every major nation on Earth."
"And at the same time, people learned something even more terrifying."
He paused.
"They discovered that dangerous creatures exist."
"Unknown creatures."
"Powerful creatures."
"And nobody knows how many more are hiding out there."
The room became even quieter.
"Because of that, powerful countries and secret organizations are probably working around the clock right now."
"They'll investigate every detail about Om."
"Every friend."
"Every family member."
"Every place he's ever been."
His eyes darkened.
"Humans will do anything to survive."
"Anything."
"So the first thing they'll do is try to control Om."
"And if that doesn't work..."
He stopped for a second.
"...they might experiment on him."
Everyone visibly tensed.
"They'll want to uncover every secret hidden inside him."
A painful smile appeared on his face.
"Our Om is no longer just a person."
"In the eyes of the world..."
"He's a weapon."
"And a laboratory specimen."
The room went silent.
Nobody wanted to admit it.
But everyone knew he was right.
After a few moments, the Mayor nodded grimly.
"Yes."
"Exactly."
He stared out the window.
"To the world, Om has become a way to survive against those monsters."
His voice softened.
"I just hope he's safe."
"And I hope he's far away from people like that."
While everyone downstairs worried about Om...
Four girls sat quietly in a room upstairs.
Seema.
Anshika.
Supriya.
And Sanaya.
None of them were talking.
Their faces looked pale.
Their eyes carried the same worry.
They wanted to find Om.
But they had no way to reach him.
No clue where he was.
All they could do was pray.
Standing by the window, Anshika looked out at the evening sky.
Her voice was barely a whisper.
"Om..."
"I pray that wherever you are..."
"...you're okay."
The silence lasted only a few seconds.
Then Sanaya suddenly exploded.
"Is he an idiot or what?!"
The others looked at her.
She folded her arms angrily.
"Who goes off alone to fight monsters like that?"
"What does he think he is?"
"A superhero?"
"He saw those terrifying demons and still jumped into the fight!"
She shook her head.
"Boys are impossible."
"All they know is fighting."
Before anyone could reply, Supriya spoke.
"I'm genuinely worried."
"Did you see how badly injured he was?"
"He was covered in blood."
Her voice trembled.
"Most people wouldn't survive injuries like that."
Seema immediately interrupted.
"But Om isn't most people."
A small smile appeared on her face.
"You saw his powers."
"They were amazing."
Then she shrugged.
"In a way..."
"He really is a superhero."
The others couldn't help smiling a little.
For a brief moment, the tension eased.
Then—
The door burst open.
Abhay came running into the room.
He looked completely panicked.
His breathing was uneven.
Everyone immediately stood up.
"Abhay?"
"What happened?"
Seeing him so nervous, the girls exchanged worried glances.
"What's wrong?"
Abhay pointed toward the hallway.
His chest rose and fell rapidly as he struggled to catch his breath.
Then he finally blurted out—
"He's back!"
The girls froze.
"Who?"
Abhay took another breath.
Then he said the name that made every heart stop.
"Om."
"Om is on television again."
The room instantly erupted.
"What?!"
"Are you serious?!"
"Where?!"
Nobody wasted another second.
The girls rushed out of the room.
Downstairs, the others had already heard the news.
Within moments, the television was turned on.
Everyone gathered around the screen.
Their hearts raced.
Because after days of uncertainty...
After days of not knowing whether he was alive...
They were finally about to see Om again.
And far away...
At the very place where the great battle had happened...
A lone figure slowly walked across the scarred battlefield.
Step.
After step.
After step.
Om had returned.
And this time...
The entire world was watching.
