Chapter 218 - 217: Small World

Nifflers are a type of magical creature, covered in jet-black fur.

They resemble echidnas in appearance, have gentle temperaments, and are quite loyal to humans.

But the problem is—they love to collect shiny things, especially precious metals or gems.

As soon as Banner opened the suitcase, the Nifflers followed the scent and snuck out during the night.

This naturally left the wallets of the Kamar-Taj sorcerers in jeopardy.

"No wonder," Lyon said with sudden realization. "Maybe next time you guys should keep the Nifflers in a separate space."

"But still, if they stole something, then just catch them again. Wong, you're not being petty, are you?"

Wong pounded his chest in frustration. "I'm not being petty, but even after catching them the first time, they still came back for a second! After several times, these little bastards got smart. Two of them that stole something yesterday still haven't been caught!"

"I haven't even seen my piggy bank for days!"

Good grief—those little creatures didn't just steal Wong's money; they even made off with the entire box.

This was clearly a coordinated heist.

"Fuck!" shouted Tony from behind the group.

Everyone turned around and saw a small, pitch-black creature crawling out from under Tony's collar.

It had a flat Arc Reactor clamped in its mouth. With a kick from Tony's shoulder, it bolted off into the distance.

"It stole my Arc Reactor!" Tony clutched at his chest, which now felt completely empty—there was nothing there.

"This is outright robbery, not theft," Lyon commented. "It's about to disappear—you couldn't lend a hand?"

Tony rolled his eyes. He casually pulled a wand from his pocket. "Accio reactor!"

The Arc Reactor flew swiftly back into Tony's hand under the pull of magic.

The Niffler that had stolen it refused to let go and, flailing its little legs, was dragged along through the air.

"Not a bad Summoning Charm," Lyon remarked. "Definitely at a Hogwarts fifth-year level."

"Well, thank you ever so much for the praise."

Tony speechlessly tugged the reactor out of the Niffler's grip, shook it off a couple of times with a look of disdain, and stuffed it back into his chest pocket.

Then he rubbed the Niffler's soft, round belly. "This little guy is kind of annoying, but why does it feel so nice to touch?"

"Thanks, Tony. Now there's only one Niffler still missing," Wong quickly stepped forward to take the Niffler.

"Wong, why do you look so nervous? Are you worried I'll do something to it?" Tony put away his wand. "You keep complaining but clearly like it—you're reminding me of that Severus guy."

"Please don't compare me to that bat professor under any circumstances," Wong muttered as he stuffed the Niffler back into Banner's suitcase.

"Sounds like he left quite the impression on you all?" Lyon raised a hand and, with a flick of telekinesis, fished out the other hidden Niffler from the corner.

"Here. This should be the last one, right?" He handed the Niffler into the suitcase, then turned to Mordo.

"Honestly, I've only been gone a month, and just one hour here is enough to show me how chaotic Kamar-Taj has become."

Lyon clapped his hands. "Alright, stop standing around. Let's begin—take me to the designated area so we can start creating the pocket world."

In the proposal drafted by Wong and Mordo, the vision for a magic academy and a magical creature sanctuary required an independent space.

Something like the Undetectable Extension Charm, which has an expiration date, obviously wouldn't suffice.

So, they thought of Lyon's World Ring (which Wong had been eyeing for quite a while).

But Lyon's current World Rings—even the smallest one—had diameters measured in trillions of kilometers.

Using something like that to build a magic school would be far too wasteful.

Fortunately, he was currently in the World Lord phase, which meant he could create small worlds similar to the World Ring.

The greatest trait of the World Lord stage in the Swallowed Star Universe's cultivation system was the ability to connect with the origin of the universe to draw energy, and combine it with one's own world power to create a pocket world.

And this ability was exclusive to the World Lord stage.

Other stages—even more powerful ones, like Immortals—couldn't do it.

Because once one reached the Immortal stage, the internal world would transform into an external divine kingdom, and world power would evolve into divine power—thus losing the ability to create new small worlds.

One would have to wait until they surpassed the ranks of Law Master and Law Sovereign.

Then, one becomes a True God.

Their divine kingdom transforms into a miniature universe.

Only then can they once again rely on their own power to create a small world.

Lyon was currently in the Marvel Universe.

Though there was no such thing as an "Origin of the Universe" here, the Infinity Stones represented the source of the universe.

He only needed to draw on the power of the Space Stone and combine it with the world power of his internal realm, and he would be able to create a small world.

"You're starting now? Over here, over here!" The moment Wong heard Lyon say he was going to create a small world, he became excited.

He pulled Mordo along to lead the way, and they arrived at… the deepest part of the library.

"Are you sure you want to build it here?" Lyon was surprised.

The deepest part of the library was a circular, cavern-like chamber.

Originally, this was where the Eye of Agamotto—also known as the artifact housing the Time Stone—had been kept.

And on four sides of the room were four doors: Three fixed portals leading to the three Sanctums, and one ordinary arched door leading back into the library.

At the spot where the Eye of Agamotto had originally been placed, Wong and Mordo had constructed a small wooden house, three meters tall and two meters wide.

The style followed the Eastern architectural aesthetics of Kamar-Taj.

The materials used for this wooden house were all rare magical metals and woods, truly suitable for housing a small world.

"Yes, build it right here!" Wong and Mordo were confident.

"Although building it next to the fixed portal is convenient, opening the door to a cramped cavern feels rather old-fashioned."

Lyon looked around: "But it's not impossible. It actually gives off the atmosphere of a secluded sect's hidden chamber."

He stepped forward and opened the door. Behind it was a solidly packed wall of magical metal, not yet forming an actual room.

It was as if a door had been embedded directly into a block of magical alloy.

"Not bad. These materials are sufficient."

Lyon closed the door, placing his palm against its surface.

"You're starting now? Should we step back a little?" Wong asked nervously.

"No need, but it might take a while. You should wait outside," Lyon replied.

He simultaneously drew upon the Space Stone's energy and the power of his inner world.

The two forces intertwined and flowed into the wooden door, gradually opening up a miniature world.

Ten meters, a hundred meters, ten thousand meters...

In just a few seconds, the diameter of the small world expanded to 100,000 meters, and it continued to grow.

Only when it had stretched into a spherical world with a diameter exceeding one million meters did Lyon stop channeling energy.

This size had already reached the material's maximum capacity.

He then shifted to using his world power to gather matter within the small world, shaping land, mountains, and rivers, and using the Law of Light to create a light source.

After half a day had passed, Lyon stopped and lowered his right hand, which had been pressed against the door.

"Is it done?" Before he could even turn around, Wong's voice came from nearby.

And not just Wong, Tony, Mordo, and Banner hadn't left either.

They had all been eagerly waiting for him to finish crafting the small world.
