Allison's POV
"It's nothing serious. It was a reaction to something she ate..."
The pediatrician explains to Darius, Zain and I, their faces forlorn from the gravity of the situation, yet compared to before, they are much more relaxed, obviously grateful that it is not something serious. But I know who will get punished for this... The chef, who is Rebecca's sister or something.
Though knowing how much Darius respects the housekeeper, I have hopes that he will handle the situation sensibly. Except that it's his daughter we are talking about, and he loves his daughter extremely.
"What exactly did she eat?" Darius asks his brother immediately the doctor leaves us.
"A turkey sandwich..."
"Turkey? Dora does not eat meat! Who the hell gave her the sandwich? Rebecca?" He shouts the name in the reception, causing everyone to give him a look, including the nurses attending to patients, and of course me. He nods apologetically and continues to rant, except in a much more lower tone.
