"I don't even know how to play basketball, and you are throwing me in the game? I can't play like this, and...those two monsters, Ivan and Noah...they are evil, I don't want to play." Elisa already said and everyone was left frozen, now the question was...from where they will get the eighth player? But Ishan just walked to Elisa, while looking down and his whole face was covered by his hair and he just asked while breathing deeply, "...Do you know volleyball, how to play it?"
Everyone was surprised...but Ly started sweating, remembering of her past life, "...Volleyball, huh?"
Elisa hold the basketball and looked up, "...I know volleyball." And Ishan just walked, stood behind Elisa and said, "Then toss the ball up and I will pass it to the other side, you know that about volleyball, right?"
And Ly started sweating more, Cyen and Eta felt like they are already defeated by this but they just want to play so they didn't say anything, Ivan didn't understand that what is Ishan going to do but Noah, Aid and Miyu just smiled creepily, ready to finally cook someone else and defeat others. Everyone took their positions, Elisa was confused that what is going to happen and how she is going to play basketball like volleyball but she didn't say anything and remain on her position.
Ly came with her whistle and said, "So I will be the referee, I know all the rules and laws of basketball so don't worry. Now I will whistle at one...starting from now...3..." And Ivan's team smiled more creepily, "...2..." And Elisa was confused that what is going to happen now...
"And...1..." And Ly whistled and Elisa tossed the basketball high up in the sky...and everyone's eyes widened, Ishan also jumped and actually three meters up and everyone was just watching, and Ishan just hit hard at the basketball and the ball immediately moved, collided to the wall in front of the hoop and the basketball bounced...everyone was just watching, no one could do nothing because the ball was just already too much high...everyone looked at the basketball going to fall and Noah smiled, "...He tried best...but it's not a score--" But the basketball beat at the hoop ring and then went in the hoop...and everyone was left frozen.
The ball dropped down, and Ishan finally landed...and Ly whistled, "It's three points for Sister Elisa's team!"
And everyone was left frozen...they couldn't believe...they all looked at Ishan, but Ishan's face was just covered with his hair completely and even from behind it, he had no reaction or emotion on it. They all were speechless, but Ishan took a deep breath again and just said, "Pass the ball."
Cyen, Miyu, Aid and Eta were just left broken and they shouted, "Huh?!!! When we all together just fight against Brother Ivan and brother Noah, they were still winning and now a bigger twist?!"
But Ishan was now just being annoyed, and with a little bit anger he looked at others and just said, "Pass me the ball...it's not the time to shout...play or...let me just practice." And at this moment, Ishan was the real monster...all he wanted was to defeat Ichinose, it had went to his ego now and he knows that it's only practice that can make him like that. Everyone realized that Ishan was on his peak point, and all he wanted...was to play and keep on becoming better.
Ichinose finally reached to his home, and knocked at the door, hoping that his mother would open now. The door opened slightly and his mother looked at him with the eyes of suspect, "Did you play today, Ichinose?" And Ichinose nodded his head...his mother smiled and finally the door opened, she patted on his head and Ichinose finally entered, "Good then, I made pancakes for you just because I know that my little boy always listen to me and would play today, now go and wash your hands, and then have the pancake. By the way, what game did you play?"
It was 8-0...the scoreboard, and even Ivan and Elisa had started sweating, they couldn't believe...that for the first time, someone else was doing this and even against Ivan, the one who usually do it. And the reason was Ishan wasn't giving them a single chance to even think to dominate, Ishan wouldn't stop, he scored once, he get the ball, then repeat it...the loop could only be broken once Ivan and his team scores some point, but Ishan wasn't letting them do that...but this was what Ivan and Noah always used to do, showing no mercy, and now Ishan is just doing that and they both are hopeless.
Everyone took their positions again, Cyen and Eta loved that they are not dominating, against those who made them cry but Miyu and Aid were going to cry more now. The game was ready, Ly looked at everyone...and she whistled again, Ivan covered the all area blocking Ishan...but he didn't even notice, when Ishan just escaped and ran from him. Everyone was shocked and looked at him and Ishan was just running and his speed was undefeatable, his speed was no match and no one could stop him, Ishan easily passed everyone and he was just in front of the hoop in just two to three seconds and he jumped and dunk...and he was just left hanging and the basketball passed and Ly whistled and Ishan scored two more points...but all of a sudden, he fell down and he was completely unconscious at that point and everyone rushed with worrying about him.
Ishan was completely exhausted, he was completely sick from inside, but he still had the will to defeat Ichinose, because he never thought...that there will be someone whose way of playing is completely different like Ishan has never seen. Ishan admires that strength, and even after being unconscious, a smile bloomed on Ishan's face...which others couldn't understand, they were just confused that what actually happened.
