Mahi finally turned, and looked at Zara. Zara was surprised to see her and remembered that it was the girl who was being bullied and she and Ishan took them to the school health facility. Although that time they both saw her, her face was hidden by her hairs but now she's finally showing who she actually is.
"Um... um... I... I am Mahi... than... thanks for helping me yesterday... I... I am really thankful for it... Th... Thank you..."
Ishan was shocked, she's so much shy that she can't even say a whole sentence properly? And he looked at himself, but she was freely speaking with him.
But Zara remain kind and smiled, "Don't be so shy in front of me, take me as your best friend only..."
Mahi smiled and looked at Ishan... Ishan was still shocked.
"Don't look at your brother, look at me."
Mahi and Ishan, both were frozen... what? Zara gave the checkmate to stop the love triangle?
And like them, I was frozen...
Ishan smiled with teasing eyes, "So... you are jealous from her?"
Zara gave a tight kick at Ishan's stomach and he was injured badly. Zara made a pouting face and took off her view from looking at Ishan.
Ishan couldn't even stand properly, that badly he was injured--
"Hahahaha..."
But suddenly Zara and Ishan looked and Mahi was laughing, she was laughing freely. Ishan and Zara were surprised and looked at each other.
"So-Sorry..." But Mahi couldn't stop laughing and Ishan and Zara smiled, they all gathered and Zara came in front of Mahi and she suddenly stopped laughing with surprise with a thought, 'Did I did something wrong?'
Zara gave a hand and with a smile introduced herself, "I am Zara, and you?"
Mahi was surprised, but she smiled and looked at Zara with a more bright smile and said, "I am Mahi, nice to meet you Senior."
And they both had a handshake and Zara smiled with a sweat, "You don't need to call me senior, please."
Ishan smiled by looking bond of friendship, it was the same like it was in his previous life.
"Girls bond is best." Ishan mumbled and started looking here and there, in search of someone.
Zara and Mahi even took their seats in no time and started talking friendly, it didn't even took a second to change the shy girl into a friend of Zara.
But Zara looked at Ishan and he was still in search of someone.
"Miyu is absent today!" Zara stated which shocked Ishan. He got the answer and started moving towards Zara and Mahi and took his seat and asked, "Why is he absent today?"
But Zara gave an open palm with a smile, Ishan smiled and handed her the lunch box and murmured, "I don't know, but don't worry. He will come tomorrow, most probably."
Ishan didn't wanted to start the talk about Miyu because Mahi will be understanding nothing and he and Zara will only talk and she will be ignored, so he kept it aside and asked, "Do you know, Mahi also plays chess."
Zara was surprised and looked at Mahi and their conversation started and Ishan was being ignored in the whole conversation which he could predict and smiled and didn't mind that and had his lunch.
"Hey, when is your games?" Zara asked while walking with Ishan and Mahi in the hallways, just wandering in the school building.
Ishan had no clue, he doesn't focuses in the words of teachers and just acts that he is focusing in the lecture which I complete lie and false statement, he doesn't gets time from thinking and wandering in his thoughts.
"It's at the fifth period, today." But Mahi knew and Ishan was shocked Zara looked at his face and smiled.
"You should study Ishan. Mahi answered but you had no clue, do you even focus in the lectures?"
Mahi looked at Ishan and Ishan accepted by a smile with a sweat. Mahi couldn't believe that from the guy she believed would be wise is actually dumb, but she smiled, she is the same, she never studies but hears everything which is off topic from the studies, something different.
"It's good then." Zara murmured and Mahi and Ishan looked at her.
"Mine is also at the same."
Ishan was shocked, but Mahi was more shocked.
At the fourth period, Mahi and Ishan were just thinking about games period but they both themselves didn't knew why. The fourth period ended and they both stood from their seats.
"Have a good day sir!!!"
Everyone started talking already in the class about their first games period.
"I will try my best to impress Senior Zara!!!"
"Our games period with class of Senior Zara!!!"
"She's really amazing! I will try my best to play with her!"
And Ishan was becoming angry by hearing the words by his classmates, he will definitely kill them if they tried to make Zara bore or trouble in her game.
But Mahi was surprised, "Ishan... Is Senior Zara famous?"
Ishan smiled, "Yeah, I have heard that she plays in a national team and is good at basketball."
Mahi smiled with looking down, "So... Don't you think she's treating us special? I mean... Will we even be able to talk with her in that period?"
Mahi's question was valid, Ishan thought for a while and responded, "... Let's see about that..."
"Check" Mahi gave her move and Ishan looked at the chess board.
They were in the stadium and what they were fearful for, that only happened. Zara was playing with her team and boys team and Ishan and Mahi couldn't even look at her because their classmates didn't even allowed, they all were pushing Mahi in the crowd even if the stadium was big, they all made a crowd at a settled place. For Mahi, Ishan has to move back and take her to the chess board.
Ishan smiled and gave a hand, "I resign, again."
Mahi smiled and accepted, it was a checkmate in next five moves which was unstoppable.
Ishan and Mahi looked and all their classmates were just watching the practice of boys and girls basketball team.
