I know my wife was messing around. I know Wu Jinmai wants General Ye to cooperate with Su Ming Xu when it comes to her family's massacre.
My wife just wants to test the royal and noble faction. I let her control the meeting, but I'm observing along the way.
I think the culprit of the Ye massacre was Shi Rong. I have to ask Xu Jiaxu to investigate. If my hunch was right, Shi Rong was trying to persuade the patriarch of the Ye family. He failed to have the support of the Wei family, who have the same military power as the Ye.
She puts back the memorial on the table and looks at the couple. "The two of you, step aside on your right. You will be dismissed after the court meeting is adjourned."
"Understood, Your Majesty!" they both say.
They step aside. I grab the memorial and read the text. My brow arches. "I received an anonymous memorial. A person reported that some ministers in my outer court were having an affair with my late father's concubines."
