The so-called Ultimate Art was Deidara's most powerful explosion, achieved by using the mouth on his chest to chew clay, infusing it with all his chakra, and then detonating it without regard for the consequences. It was said that the blast radius could reach up to ten kilometres.

Additionally, due to the explosion's resemblance to a certain starfish, fans often joked that "art is Patrick." As for its power well, even Manda himself would have approved.

Such a devastating technique, when unleashed, had the following results: nearly blinding Fū, almost scaring Sasuke into awakening his Mangekyō Sharingan, knocking Kakashi out cold, killing several nameless blond shinobi, and… illuminating the Kamui Dimension.

The moment Deidara activated C0: Self-Destruction, the tomoe in Sasuke's Sharingan spun wildly. By his calculations, there was no way he would survive the blast.

His only thought was to have Aoda swallow him, Kakashi, and Fū, then dispel the summoning technique and escape. While it would be easy enough for him to be swallowed, there was simply no time to do the same for all three of them. As for abandoning Kakashi and Fū? That wasn't even an option.

Fortunately, at the exact moment Deidara's body began glowing, Kakashi activated Kamui with full force, warping him away. Then, he collapsed straight to the ground, completely spent. Hopefully, he hadn't hit his head too hard.

"Ah! So bright!" Though it only lasted an instant, the light was as intense as a miniature sun. Fū, feeling as if she had been hit by a flashbang, clutched her eyes in the air, tears streaming down her face. She buzzed around like a dazed bee, first flying in figure eights, then circling randomly.

"Phew…" Sasuke let out a long breath and slumped to the ground, exhausted. After a moment, he struggled to his feet and made his way to Kakashi. "Kakashi-sensei, how are you?"

Lying flat on the ground, staring at the sky, Kakashi sighed. "I used too much chakra, and with the Sharingan's side effects, I can't even move a finger right now."

Fū, finally regaining her sight, curiously flew over to Kakashi and poked his masked face. "Then… what was that just now?"

With barely any energy left, Kakashi weakly explained, "That was a special dōjutsu. I used the Sharingan to transfer him into another dimension. Now, can you cover my Sharingan for me? Thanks."

"Oh!" Fū grabbed Kakashi's forehead protector and casually pulled it down covering both of his eyes in the process.

Kakashi: "..."

In the end, it was Sasuke who carefully adjusted Kakashi's forehead protector back to its proper position.

Fū stuck out her tongue sheepishly. "So, are we heading back now? I can carry you!"

Sasuke sat cross-legged beside Kakashi and shook his head. "No need. In our current condition, we'd only slow things down. We should wait here, Naruto or one of his clones will find us soon."

And sure enough, Naruto didn't disappoint. A shadow clone quickly arrived at their location. "Yo! Still alive, huh?"

Fū blinked at the clone in surprise. "How did you know he'd come?"

Before Sasuke could answer, the clone responded matter-of-factly, "You guys dropped a giant bomb in my garbage dump; of course, I had to come to check it out!"

Originally, several of Naruto's shadow clones had been hanging out in the Kamui Dimension, wearing gas masks and playing card games. They were enjoying themselves when, suddenly, a Patrick-shaped explosion wiped them all out. They hadn't even tried to escape they simply wanted to experience "art" up close.

When Naruto sensed his clones vanishing within Deidara's Ultimate Art, he knew Kakashi's group had wrapped things up. So, he created more clones to replace the lost ones and sent one over to check on the situation.

The clone crouched beside Kakashi, poking his face. "Looks like this was Kakashi-sensei's doing, huh?"

Kakashi remained silent. Technically, this was his fault… but also, not really. Half of that dimension was practically owned by the Uchiha and the other half by the Hatake. Could people stop treating it like a literal garbage dump?

"Anyway, just take us back to Konoha. We're not going to be much help here for now."

Meanwhile, several battles were happening simultaneously, but the most intense one was between Pain and Konoha's elite forces.

Perhaps to make up for being outnumbered, the Animal Path of Pain had summoned multiple creatures in succession: a giant bull, a rhino, a centipede, a chameleon, an eight-span crow, and the infamous splitting dog.

Of all these summons, the chameleon and the splitting dog were the most troublesome.

The chameleon could turn invisible at will, making it undetectable by conventional means. By hiding inside its mouth, the Animal Path could ensure it wouldn't be taken out, prematurely preventing an early dismissal of the summons.

As for the splitting dog? That thing was a nightmare. Every time it was attacked, it split into more copies of itself faster than a Hydra growing new heads. A dream come true for dog meat enthusiasts, but a nightmare for anyone trying to get rid of it. If someone managed to domesticate a splitting dog, the dog meat market would collapse, and dog thieves would be forced into honest work.

"How to Deal with Summoned Beasts"

Boom! Boom! Tsunade and Sakura provided an answer with their fists each of them delivering a punch that sent the bull and rhino flying. Then, with synchronized kicks, they sent the creatures crashing out of the battlefield. Their movements were nearly identical, as if master and student had been carved from the same mould.

As for Minato, Naruto's father, he had his own answer: counter-summoned beasts with summoned beasts.

Thus, the three great sages of Mount Myōbokub, Gamabunta, Gamaken, and Gamahiro, made their grand entrance.

"So these guys are our opponents?" Gamabunta puffed on his pipe, eyeing the massive centipede and the airborne eight-span crow.

"That little mutt over there too, I reckon. Leave it to us." Gamahiro brandished his twin blades.

Unlike his more confident brothers, Gamaken was a bit more hesitant. "I may be clumsy… but I'll do my best."

Of course, anyone familiar with Gamaken knew that despite his words, he always fought with ruthless efficiency.

Gamabunta set his sights on the eight-span crow, gripping the hilt of his short sword as he gathered power in his legs. Then, with a mighty leap, he slashed downward—"Toad Short Sword Slash!"

His massive body soared through the air, and the "short sword," which was still dozens of meters long, flashed in a white arc. However, he missed.

The eight-span crow, while ugly, was incredibly fast. After dodging the attack, it even circled back to peck at Gamabunta's back.

Twisting his short neck in an almost unnatural way, Gamabunta turned in midair and spat out a powerful shot of water "Water Release: Liquid Bullet!"

A giant water sphere splashed across the crow's face, soaking its feathers completely.

Taking advantage of the moment, Gamabunta launched his tongue like a whip.

The toads of Mount Myōboku were highly experienced in dealing with airborne prey. Whether hunting or sparring with Naruto's clones during their training, they had honed their skills well.

Gamabunta's tongue coiled around the crow's neck, yanking it down before he slammed his enormous body on top of it.

Splat.

One less summon to worry about.
