Lisa was holding onto her belly with her other hand. She looked down at the floor. It was wet. "Oh, god! Someone get Sterling as soon as possible!" Brenna then came back after alerting Sterling, she helped Lisa from the other side which helped them move faster. They went outside. Sterling was already with the door open. "Sterling, is Tiff coming too?"
"Yes, she is! What about Aliza and the others!"
"I informed them when you were getting ready!" Tiff assured him. Sterling looked in the side mirror to see Aliza, Mallory and Catherine approaching Mallory's car.
After assuring everyone's safety, He hit the pedals. "I texted everyone. They're on their way to the hospital!" Brenna notified everyone.
"What about your new aunt?" Eva asked. "When she comes back, she's going to find an empty house!"
"About that, Sterling..." She frowned at Sterling expecting him to agree with her. "...we should, shouldn't we!"
"It's not the right time. I'm more worried about the baby."

On the way to the hospital, Sterling realised he had to alert his doctor. "Brenna, call Lola!"
"Lola who?"
"Our doctor, dammit!"

"He's doing something and it's her so call him and tell Lola that we're on our way!"

Outside the room, the women were waiting. Ophelia just arrived running down the hallway. She was out of breath as Mallory helped her sit down. "How long...has it been...since they went...inside?"
"Fifteen minutes, maybe?" Brenna answered.
"I think some of us can wait somewhere else. There are too many of us in the hallway!" Eva crossed her arms glaring at Tiff.
"Where is Drew?" Mallory asked Ophelia.
"She wasn't with me!"
"Someone should call her, right?" Catherine said.
"None of us has her number!"
"Then call the landline! If she's back home, she might pick it up. If not, leave a message." Aliza gave a solution from her side.
"You know what! I'm hungry. I'm going to get something to eat." Eva turned around and started searching for the vending machine. Brenna followed her because she knew something was off.

Brenna walked into where Eva was waiting for her chips. "Care to explain what's going on?"

"She doesn't like him, right?" Eva picked up her chip packet from the vending machine. "Why does he have that look when she's with him?"
"I don't know what you're talking about!"
"Tiff, Sterling was having a great time with her until Lisa's water broke. She knew how to comfort him when he was panicking in the car. She is staying there waiting but she didn't have to."
"Maybe that's because you jump on his dick every chance you get."
"You see, that's my point! Am I only staying with him because of sex? I've been asking this question ever since he told me how he feels about the other girls!" Eva took a seat nearby.

"How can I leave? I need to be there for Sterling...and for Lisa too!"
"Eva, if you're questioning yourself, let me remind you of something. You've had sexual partners before Sterling. In any part of time since you slept with Sterling, you could have gone back to those guys to have fun but you didn't. You're sticking with him and me. Why do you think you did that?"
"Because I love him and you're my best friend."

A few minutes later, Sterling came out of the ward and gave everyone a thumbs up. Ophelia ran towards him and hugged her son with tears in her eyes. "I'm so proud of you, Sterling!"
"Lisa did most of it though!"
"Just take the compliment, Sterling!" Catherine showed a peace sign from behind.
"Can we meet the baby?" Eva asked.
"Go see Lisa! She's in room 167. I'll be back with the baby!"
"What? They are not in the same room." Brenna asked.
"Lola wanted to take some samples." Sterling winked at her sister letting her know that he wanted to run some tests on the baby. "I'm going to see if everything is alright!" Sterling nervously made his steps forward walking inside. The women followed him and changed directions towards Lisa's room.

Sterling knocked on a door and went inside to see Lola with some nurses. Surprisingly, one of the nurses was Wilson in a surgical mask. Sterling sighed and asked Lola. "Did you get all the samples you needed?"
"Yep! I'll run the tests you asked for. Are you sure about it, Sterling?"
"I don't want to risk my kid's life based on some records. If the baby has a similar pattern to myself, it would be great."
"We're done with the tests, sir. You may take the baby to your family. They should be eager to see the new member of their household." Wilson played along for the other nurses and winked at Sterling. Sterling took his baby in his hand and left the room.

The girls were checking on Lisa. The knock on the door got their attention. Sterling entered with his newborn. The baby had blonde hair like his little sister and their father, he was holding onto his father's index. "Hey, everyone! Meet my son, Ludwig Johnson, named after the man who took care of his mother while his dad was absent." He looked at Lisa. Tears in her eyes, knowing Sterling was going to do that.
"You idiot, you made poor Lisa cry!" Brenna yelled at her brother.
"Someone take my baby from his hand before he starts quoting Barney from How I Met Your Mother!"
"I completely forgot about that! You are the..." Ophelia took the baby from his hand carrying him safely.
"What the mother says, goes around here!" She looked at her grandson and started weeping. "Oh, god! He looks just like you when you were born, Sterling! Except the hair!"
"Hey, what's the deal with the quoting thing?" Brenna asked Lisa while Ophelia was passing to baby to his mother.
"We used to watch the sitcom. When that episode aired he was adamant about quoting that dialogue to his kid!" Lisa chuckled and looked her son in his eyes. "Look at him, he's so precious! I'm glad he gets to grow up among all of you!"
Sterling was shaking. She held onto his elbow and sat back in a chair nearby. When everyone was busy admiring Ludwig, Tiff noticed Sterling's struggle. "Congratulations, Sterling!"
"I can't believe I'm a father now."
"Me neither. I didn't expect this day to turn out like this."
"I'm sorry about taking away your time."
"Nonsense! I have to see this with my own eyes to realise something."
"What would that be..?" Sterling asked rubbing his elbow as he was watching his mother teaching Catherine how to hold the baby.
"The reason why I want to become a doctor."
"Is that so?" Sterling smiled as his eyes closed. His head moved back and forth before landing on his left on someone's shoulder. It was Eva. "Take a nap, sunshine! You deserve it."
"I'm...a...dad, now!" Sterling mumbled as he fell asleep on Eva's shoulder.
Tiff glanced at them and said, "I should be leaving."
"Wait..!" Eva grabbed her wrist when Tiff got up. "Do you mind...chatting with me? Until this guy gets up?"
"I don't think it's a good idea." Tefnut had her head filled with all sorts of thoughts. She was brought to the house as Hunter's inside eye but she was falling for a lost love. And here was her lost love's current love wanting to talk to her. 'What am I doing? I was supposed to seduce Sterling to reveal his true colours but this is not what I expected. I can't ruin this for his family. They're all happy. Maybe...fine, I'll wait until he gets my sponsorship. If he's evil, I would have just used him. "Eva!" She removed her hand from her wrist. "I will talk to you but not here." Eva glanced at her man on her shoulder. She gently removed his head from her shoulder and slowly placed a pillow behind his neck.
"Sleep tight, Sterli-boy! I'll be back!" She kissed him on his forehead and went outside with Tiff. Brenna who was holding the baby, watched them leave.
'Don't mess it up, Eva! That idiot brother of mine has always been in love with Tiff. You have to live with it for this relationship of ours to survive.' That's when Brenna received a text. She gave the baby to Aliza and went outside.

Brenna made her way towards the break room. Wilson was waiting for her. "A nurse's getup? Is that what you used when you were working for my dad? Because I recognised that look!"

"Okay, now tell me why you wanted to talk alone." Brenna took a seat opposite him.
"What I'm about to tell you is something I take deep to my heart. No one except three people from my family knows about this." Wilson was hesitant. He poured some coffee into his mug and drank it. "You can never reveal this to Sterling."
"Jon, you're scaring me! Is something wrong with Sterling?"
"No, he's perfectly fine. It's something that has to do with me and your family."
"My family?" Brenna was confused.
"David didn't even reveal the truth about Hunter to anyone else. Why do you think he trusted me with it?"
"Maybe it's because you're one hell of a detective. From what I've seen and heard from Sterling you've been doing a great job."
"If I were a great detective, I would have exposed Hunter's candy ass to the cops and let them deal with his network. I didn't because it would ruin your lives. The truth being exposed to society will eventually affect your reputation. It would have affected you guys. So, I put my family's well-being before my job ethics."

"That's right! I'm Nora's second son. Your father is my brother."
"What the fuck?" Brenna got up filled with shock. Jonathan took a sip from his mug avoiding her look.
"I was born a year before you were born. Mom did a great job hiding her pregnancy."
"But who is your father? Please don't tell me it's Hunter!"
"No, ew...I would rather die than be related to that monstrosity. No offence!"
"None taken. So, your father?"
"Mom didn't tell me at first. Only David knew who he was. My father was ashamed to reveal my existence as a bastard. But after some time, he acknowledged my existence."

"Well!" Jonathan took a deep breath and continued. "That's a secret you will have to ask your grandmother."

"I made a promise to her." Jonathan got up and left.
