Chapter 183 - Chapter 183: Natasha's Operation

[Third Person's PoV]

Tony, Melissa, and Natasha were back at Avengers Tower, leaving the cleanup—both political and otherwise—to everyone else.

Natasha, dressed in a hospital gown, looked uncertain as she glanced between the two of them. More than anything, her eyes lingered on the various machines Tony had created with his symbiote.

Her gaze then shifted toward Baymax, who was waddling around the room, preparing everything.

"You know, the more I think about this, the more I'm not liking this idea," Natasha admitted, growing increasingly uncomfortable.

"Huh? What's wrong?" Melissa asked, confused.

"What's wrong? Oh, nothing much—just the fact that I'm about to be operated on by a 15-year-old. You know, the usual," Natasha said sarcastically, masking her unease.

"Oh, don't worry, we're not the ones actually performing the operation," Tony reassured her as he walked up to Baymax. He pressed a button on the robot's chest, causing a small chip to eject. "Not to mention, Baymax here is programmed to perform over 100,000 different types of medical procedures—including various surgeries and post-op care. He'll even look after you when it's all over."

Baymax waddled over to Natasha and waved his hand in a circle. "Hello, I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion."

Natasha couldn't help but smile as she greeted him. "You know, I actually feel a lot more reassured now… which is weird."

"It's not that weird," Melissa chuckled. "That's just how Baymax is designed—to make you feel relaxed and safe."

Tony stepped forward. "Alright, since I'm in charge of your operation, I feel like it's only right to inform you of what to expect. Once your baby room is fully restored, that means your menstrual cycle will return. Periods, cramps—the whole deal."

"First of all, don't call it a baby room," Natasha scoffed. "And second, I know how periods work. I've had them before, you don't need to explain it to me."

"I'm just warning you," Tony said seriously. "The first few might be more painful and last longer than usual. Your body won't be used to having your reproductive system back after so long, so you'll likely experience hormonal imbalances. That could lead to other side effects as well. I can make a medication to help, but it'll only do so much."

Natasha placed a hand over her stomach, contemplating the situation.

"Personally, I hate periods!" Tony declared, arms crossed. "Why do women have to suffer through something so painful every month while guys don't? It's just unfair! If the person who created periods was standing in front of me—"

"Pfft, Tony, stop!" Melissa giggled, playfully slapping his back. "You're being so weird and dramatic."

Natasha smirked slightly and let out a quiet breath before nodding. "It's okay. I'll still go through with it, knowing what's to come."

Melissa motioned for Baymax to proceed. "Alright, since you've agreed, we'll now put you under anesthesia. When you wake up, the operation will be over."

Baymax approached Natasha, holding up a finger. The tip uncapped, revealing a small needle. Gently, he lifted her arm and inserted the needle with practiced precision.

As her eyelids grew heavier, the last thing she heard was Tony's voice.

"Alright, now, let's harvest her organs and get out of here."

"What?" she mumbled weakly before her eyes rolled back and she lost consciousness.

Baymax caught her, carefully laying her down on the operating bed.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Melissa snapped, glaring at Tony.

"Many things, actually," Tony replied nonchalantly as he pressed a button on his watch.

The operating bed came to life, nanobots unfolding and encasing Natasha in the medical cradle.

Holograms flickered into the air—her vitals, status, and a full-body scan. Tony and Melissa moved to opposite sides of the cradle, studying the data.

"As Friday mentioned earlier, she's made improvements to the cradle and upgraded its systems. We no longer need to extract any DNA for the procedure," Tony explained.

"Alright, so what do I do?" Melissa asked.

"Commence the DNA structural analysis," Tony instructed.

"I'm on it," Melissa said as she tapped through the holograms. A soft blue light passed up and down Natasha's body, scanning her at a microscopic level.

After close to a minute, Melissa spoke. "Structural analysis complete."

"Alright," Tony said, his tone focused as he tapped on the hologram of Natasha's body. He highlighted the lower abdominal region and adjusted several parameters. "Now, I'll begin Cellular Replication. First, we'll generate the necessary biocellular components and start forming the biological tissues."

From within the cradle, a hidden 3D bioprinter activated, humming softly as it began reconstructing Natasha's womb using Tony's expertise in energy conversion. The holographic display showed the live process—each layer of organic material being carefully built from stem cells and tailored to match her genetic structure.

As the tissue formation progressed, mechanical arms extended from within the cradle, each one designed for precise surgical procedures. They moved with calculated fluidity, scanning the reconstructed womb and preparing Natasha's body for implantation.

"Melissa, monitor her vitals," Tony instructed, his eyes never leaving the data feeds.

"Already on it," Melissa responded, watching as Natasha's heart rate and brain activity remained stable.

The arms inside the cradle adjusted their positioning, and a sterilized, ultra-fine laser scalpel deployed. It hovered just above Natasha's abdomen before making its first precise incision. A robotic arm moved in sync, carefully retracting the skin and underlying tissues to expose the space where the new womb would be placed.

"Incision complete," Friday reported. "Proceeding with organ integration."

With the opening prepared, another arm delicately lifted the newly fabricated womb from its holding chamber. The 3D-printed organ pulsed faintly as the artificial tissue synchronized with Natasha's cellular structure. The mechanical arms adjusted their grip and lowered it into position.

"Beginning vascular connection," Tony announced, his fingers moving swiftly across the holographic controls. The arms inside the cradle responded instantly, using microscopic sutures and bio-adhesives to seamlessly attach blood vessels and nerves.

"Her body is accepting the organ," Melissa noted. "Minimal immune response detected—it's adapting quickly."

"Good. That means the tissue integration is going smoothly," Tony replied. "Now we need to stimulate cellular bonding and accelerate healing."

A specialized tool deployed from the cradle, emitting targeted bioelectric pulses that encouraged the cells to merge naturally. The once-separate tissues gradually fused together, becoming indistinguishable from her original anatomy.

"Neural connections stabilizing… Blood flow at optimal levels…" Melissa read off the diagnostics. "Everything's looking good so far."

"Alright, let's finish this up," Tony said. "Sealing the incision."

The surgical arms worked in reverse, carefully closing the layers of muscle and skin. A regenerative gel was applied, accelerating tissue repair and minimizing scarring.

"Procedure complete," Friday confirmed.

Tony exhaled and leaned back slightly. "That should do it. Now we just wait for her to wake up."

Melissa glanced at Natasha, then back at the monitors. "Think she'll be okay?"

"She's stronger than most people give her credit for," Tony said with a smirk. "She'll be fine."

Baymax waddled over, scanning Natasha one last time. "Her vitals are stable. She will require rest, hydration, and emotional support."

Melissa chuckled. "Well, she's definitely gonna need some emotional support when she remembers what you said before she passed out."

Tony smirked. "What, the organ harvesting joke? Please, that was gold."

Melissa rolled her eyes but smiled nonetheless.

Now, all they had to do was wait for Natasha to wake up.
