Chapter 115 - Chapter 115 What changed

After successfully making Penny human.

Arthur went back to his room at the academy feeling relaxed.

He left Penny to spend time with Pietro.

They needed that much compensation from what they had been through.

Ironwood was a dick after all.

"As for Ironwood. I will deal with him later."

Arthur even made sure that no one from Atlas would bother them with magic spells.

Arthur closed the door to his room, the familiar click echoing in the sudden quiet.

He wasn't surprised to see Grinda already there, perched on the edge of his desk, her arms crossed.

He had, after all, made quite a stir with James and Winter.

"Alright, Arthur, out with it,"

Grinda said, her voice laced with a mixture of exasperation and concern.

She sighed, running a hand through her silver hair.

"James is practically frothing at the mouth trying to find a way to 'deal' with you. Though, honestly, I don't think he stands a ghost of a chance."

She knew, with an unsettling certainty, that James Ironwood, for all his military might and bravado, was utterly outmatched.

Arthur leaned back against the door, his expression was one of those unconcerned.

"He crossed a line he shouldn't have,"

He stated, the words clipped and final.

"He acted like a complete dick, Grinda. Even after Pietro explained that Penny actually has a soul, a genuine, living soul, James still treated her like a piece of equipment. An object to be controlled, to be dissected."

Grinda's features softened after hearing that.

She understood.

More than understood, she empathized.

The idea of someone dismissing a sentient being, a person with a soul, as mere property… It was an affront.

"I see,"

She murmured, a flicker of anger in her own eyes.

"If it were me, I'd feel the same way. More than justified, in fact."

"Ozpin's trying to calm him down,"

Grinda continued, her gaze fixed on Arthur, a hint of something unsaid in their depths.

"But I have a feeling he's going to fail spectacularly."

She paused, letting the implication hang in the air.

"So, do you have any ideas to actually deal with this situation? Before it escalates even further?"

A slow, chilling smile spread across Arthur's face.

He pushed off the door, his movements deliberate.

"Oh, I have an idea. A very clear idea. I just have to pay him a visit on his home ground, in Atlas. And while I'm there,"

His eyes gleamed with a dangerous light,

"Maybe make someone disappear."

Grinda didn't need to ask who.

The name hung unspoken between them, a cold, sharp echo: Jacques Schnee.

The very thought sent a shiver down her spine, not of fear, but of grim anticipation.

Arthur wasn't just talking about a minor inconvenience; he was talking about dismantling the very foundations of James's power, piece by piece.

And Jacques, the patriarch of the Schnee Dust Company and a constant thorn in everyone's side, was the most obvious, and most satisfying, starting point.

Grinda let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding.

She knew Arthur was capable of extreme measures, and while Jacques Schnee was a loathsome man, his family, especially Weiss, was someone she didn't want her to get hurt.

"Going to Atlas now isn't the best plan. You've just pulled off something massive here. There are a lot of details to sort out at Beacon, and frankly, Ozpin's going to need your help managing the fallout with Ironwood."

Arthur ran a hand through his hair, leaning against the door frame.

"You're not wrong,"

He admitted.

"I have a lot on my plate here. Penny's new form, helping Pietro settle her in, keeping an eye on things here. Ironwood will have to wait a bit."

Grinda left after she was sure that Arthur wouldn't go to Atlas for now.

Arthur was with himself.

"Let me think about what has changed real quick."

According to the original story.

The Fall of Beacon was a catastrophic event that dramatically altered the world of Remnant.

However, he had prevented it from happening.

The academy should be in ruins, and the CCT (Cross Continental Transmit) communication tower collapsed, severely disrupting global communication.

Many students, huntsmen, and civilians perished during the attack, including Pyrrha Nikos.

However, Pyreha was still alive and even much stronger than Cinder Fall.

Ruby would have embarked on a journey with Jaune, Nora, and Ren (forming Team RNJR) to Mistral, seeking answers and stronger allies.

She was driven by the need to understand what happened and prevent further tragedies.

However, those tragedies never happened and she was still a clueless cute and adorable girl.

Yang Xiao Long struggles with the trauma of losing her arm and the perceived abandonment by Blake.

She fell into a deep depression and trained with her father, Taiyang, to regain her fighting spirit and adapt to her new prosthetic arm.

However, this didn't happen as well.

Because Adam was actually beaten by Yang.

He tried to cut off her arm but her aura was like the Captain America shield.

He failed and got beaten the living out of him.

Weiss Schnee should have been forcibly taken back to Atlas by her father, where she faced the strictures of her family and the politically charged environment of the Schnee Dust Company.

This didn't happen either as James and Winter fled from Beacon before Jacques had a chance to tell them to bring Weiss back.

Blake Belladonna should have fled to her homeland of Menagerie, feeling responsible for Yang's injury and the White Fang's involvement.

She attempts to organize a defense against the White Fang's growing influence.

However, she would do that later but after getting permission from Arthur.

To her, he was the greatest and strongest faunus.

If she got his help. She was sure that Menagerie would be recognized.
