He pressed forward, navigating through narrow tunnels and strange, vine-like growths that seemed to twitch as he passed by.
His heightened senses were at high alert and every step felt like he was walking into a trap.

From the shadows emerged two humanoid beasts with grotesque forms that were illuminated by the faint glow of the fungi.
