"I see. But I won't be going, as I still need to visit Mr. Acacia," Luciel said flatly. "And I want to rest early. So after checking in on Mr. Acacia, I'll head back immediately."
They hadn't even bothered to stop by and greet Treyton's grandfather at the military area or Nathan's parents at the hospital. Luciel's only goal was to rearrange the vines and return to the villa to rest.
They were scheduled to leave the base the next day, and this time, Luciel planned to be more active, to fully train himself. He wouldn't be staying in the car leisurely watching movies or playing games.
That's why he wanted to rest longer today. He knew he'd be busy once they were out on the mission, so he didn't want to waste his time meeting people he didn't even know. Besides, the attitude of the person sent to invite them was unpleasant enough to make Luciel even more unwilling to go.
"Alright then," Treyton said. "I'll go alone. I can't just ignore their invitation."
