Chapter 401 - 401

Chapter 401: Divine Bone, Desperate Situation

At the same time, the middle-aged general had already charged into the demon leader's cavern.

With the middle-aged general's explosive force, the demon leader quickly fell into danger.

Over the past year, not only had Li Hao experienced tremendous improvement, but the middle-aged general's strength had also advanced by leaps and bounds. He had not only regained his peak form but had even surpassed it.

"Roar!"

Within the ancient demon territory, as Li Hao and the middle-aged general intruded, the slumbering ancient demons were instantly alarmed. They roared in fury and hurriedly gathered, attempting to form an array to resist.

However, this instead allowed Li Hao to reap them faster.

The broken sword flashed like a shadow, its speed in object manipulation reaching a level where it could traverse countless miles in an instant. Under Li Hao's mastery of the Dao of Object Manipulation, the broken sword moved like a fish through water in the space, without causing sonic booms—silent, like the scythe of the Grim Reaper.

The ancient demons that had gathered fell like wheat before Li Hao.

His yuan shen followed closely, moving even faster. With over three hundred golden threads, Li Hao's yuan shen exuded a faint golden glow, like a deity condensed from pure, divine power.

In just a few minutes.

The ancient demon territory was littered with corpses.

The demon leader was effortlessly killed by the middle-aged general, who then moved on to the second-tier ancient demons to prevent them from harming Li Hao.

However, as Li Hao slaughtered third-tier demons, he also massacred second-tier ones. These second-tier ancient demons were now no match for him and could be killed in an instant.

Looking at the battlefield filled with demon corpses, Li Hao and the middle-aged general exchanged glances, both seeing the joy in each other's eyes.

It wasn't just about obtaining these valuable food supplies—more importantly, they saw the hope of breaking through the ancient road.

"Let's rest for now. No rush. Once we finish consuming these, our strength will improve even further," the middle-aged general said to Li Hao.

Li Hao shared the same thought.

He parked the bronze war chariot in the demon leader's territory, and once again, the two of them claimed the land for themselves and feasted without restraint.

"Next time, leave one alive so we can see what's happening outside," the middle-aged general said with a smile as he sat down to rest.

After spending a year together, especially during the life-and-death battle with Zheng Mo, Li Hao's support and their continued journey together had forged a deep bond.

Their relationship had transformed from master and student to companions and friends.

The middle-aged general had imparted all his combat techniques, secret skills, and battle experiences to Li Hao without holding anything back.

"Alright."

Li Hao nodded, selecting an ancient demon, cooking it to fill his stomach, and then gathering some rocks. Using the sharp bones from the demons' claws, he began to carve.

Now, his Dao of Painting and Cooking had both reached the tenth level and were perfect. To progress further, he needed to attain insight into their deeper essence.

Meanwhile, Fishing Dao was at the seventh level, and Chess Dao was at the eighth level.

These two skills required specific conditions to accumulate experience.

The remaining skills—poetry, music, and carving—left Li Hao with only carving as a way to pass the time and gain experience.

Life on this ancient battlefield was far too monotonous. Apart from eating and drinking, Li Hao spent his time carving.

His Carving Dao experience rapidly accumulated. Carving ancient demons provided a lot of experience, and carving the middle-aged general's likeness also rewarded him with considerable gains.

Now, his Carving Dao had gradually caught up with the Fishing Dao, surpassing it and reaching the eighth level.

"When my carving skills mature a bit more, I'll carve a giant statue of you and place it here to prove you fought on this ancient road," Li Hao said to the middle-aged general.

The middle-aged general laughed heartily and replied, "This place has long been desolate. Who would even see it? I don't care for such empty fame."

"Time is long, and one day future generations will know," Li Hao said with a light smile. To him, the middle-aged general was an old soldier who had fought for countless years, and Li Hao wanted to leave a mark of his legacy here.

The middle-aged general understood Li Hao's intentions and said nothing more. However, the longing for the world outside grew more intense in his eyes.

Li Hao gave him hope of leaving this place, and that hope, like the strongest of poisons, once tasted, became impossible to resist.

But as a True Immortal, he suppressed the urgency within him. Though the chances of breaking through were high, a shadow of doubt still loomed in his heart—what if an ancient demon commander was lurking here?

Time passed swiftly.

This third ancient demon territory housed around three to four hundred demons. Li Hao and the middle-aged general took over half a year to consume them all.

Over the six months, Li Hao's Carving Dao experience reached the peak of the eighth level.

However, the most significant improvement was his yuan shen.

The original three hundred-plus golden threads increased to 360 within the first month. Soon after, it seemed to reach a state of completion and could no longer grow.

Even though Li Hao continued consuming demon flesh, there was no further reaction. Yet, he could feel that his yuan shen was not yet saturated and continued to strengthen, becoming more imposing.

Although no new golden threads formed, when Li Hao consumed the demon leader's body, the soul energy's nourishment triggered a transformation in his yuan shen.

The golden threads condensed and merged, forming an incredibly small divine bone within his yuan shen.

The divine bone was no larger than a fingernail but resembled a golden relic seed, containing a terrifying surge of soul energy.

A yuan shen is the evolved form of the spiritual soul, which itself is the fortified and refined version of the mortal soul.

For mortals, the soul is fragile—life and death extinguish it entirely.

Upon reaching the Spirit Wander Realm, a cultivator's soul could leave the body, transforming into a spiritual soul. Even if the physical body died, one could seize another body to continue living and resist demonic arts.

The stronger the spiritual soul, the clearer a warrior's mind and the more abundant their mental energy.

When the spiritual soul is refined to its peak, it evolves into the yuan shen—a higher form of the soul. But in essence, it remains a soul, intangible and comprised of energy.

Now, however, in Li Hao's yuan shen, the gathered energy of 360 golden threads underwent a profound transformation. It solidified into a nearly tangible divine bone!

The divine bone was incredibly clear, and Li Hao could sense the terrifying power it contained.

The same transformation occurred for the middle-aged general.

Both of their yuan shen had evolved, condensing into divine bones.

"Legends say that when the soul is cultivated to its ultimate form, one becomes a True God!"

The middle-aged general was ecstatic as he felt the transformation of his yuan shen. He turned to Li Hao and said excitedly, "The end of the spiritual soul is said to be this form! It's said that only celestial emperors can cultivate this—terrifying beyond measure. A mere trace of their soul's pressure is enough to make all living things bow, causing even immortals and gods to tremble!"

Li Hao had long noticed that when the golden threads appeared in his yuan shen, he had already broken through the bottleneck of the extreme realm and was advancing toward the final realm of the spiritual soul.

However, it was evident that reaching the final realm was exceptionally difficult.

Although a divine bone had formed, this was only the result of 360 golden threads converging.

Who knew how many divine bones needed to be condensed to reach the end of this path?

Regardless, breaking through the bottleneck and stepping onto the road to the final realm already surpassed countless others in the world.

After condensing the first divine bone, the ancient demon flesh that Li Hao consumed once again allowed golden threads to form.

Once they finished consuming the last ancient demon, Li Hao and the middle-aged general once again boarded the bronze war chariot, heading toward the fourth ancient demon leader's territory.

Even though their strength had grown immensely, neither of them was careless. They still quietly infiltrated, surveyed the situation, and then launched an ambush to slaughter the demons.

This time, Li Hao left two alive, and the middle-aged general also refrained from killing the demon leader, instead suppressing it for interrogation.

To Li Hao's surprise, the demon was incredibly resolute. Even under the threat of death, it refused to reveal any information about the outside world.

However, the middle-aged general had his own methods. Seeing that the demon would not speak, he forcibly plundered its memory using his yuan shen.

This method was somewhat cruel but far more reliable. His original plan had been to interrogate the demon and then use memory plundering to verify the information.

Although memory plundering worked, it often left the memories fragmented and incomplete, resulting in broken and sporadic information.

From these fragmented memories, the middle-aged general still managed to extract a dire piece of news—there were indeed demon commanders stationed on this ancient road, and not just one!

This revelation made the middle-aged general's heart sink. He tried searching for information about the outside world, but the shattered memories mostly contained scenes of slaughter and the great battle from long ago. There was no memory of the outside world. The demon leader seemed to have been sealed here since that battle and had never left.

The middle-aged general relayed his findings to Li Hao, his expression heavy.

Li Hao, however, had already mentally prepared himself. Although the situation was grim, it was far better than before.

At least previously, they hadn't even been able to deal with an ancient demon leader and were forced to hide at the canyon entrance. Now, they could slaughter these ancient demon leaders with ease.

Li Hao and the middle-aged general once again settled in this territory.

Six months later, after finishing off all the demons in this territory, they moved on to the next one.

Time flew by.

After clearing out the sixth ancient demon leader's territory, Li Hao realized he had already been here for three years.

Inside his body, the golden threads once again gathered to 360, and a second divine bone began to form.

In addition, Li Hao's carving dao had also improved to the ninth level.

The works he carved were no longer mere carvings but valuable treasures.

For instance, a small ancient demon carving possessed the ancient demons' soul-attacking abilities. Although not as powerful as the real demons, it was enough to defend against certain spiritual attacks.

Carved weapons, such as swords and knives, were comparable to divine weapons and carried special power imbued by Li Hao's dao force.

Li Hao speculated that when his carving dao reached the tenth level, he might even be able to carve dao tribulation imperial weapons!

Throughout history, dao tribulation imperial weapons were naturally born from the heavens and earth. If Li Hao could carve such an artifact, even without combat power, he would become an honored guest of any saint.

"The memories of this demon mention that they're preparing for battle. There's been another war outside, and the commanders might summon them soon. Once they're summoned, the abnormality here will surely be discovered," the middle-aged general said to Li Hao.

This was a critical piece of information extracted from the sixth ancient demon leader's memories.

The ancient demons resembled a military force, and none dared defy demons of higher rank. Their hierarchy was even stricter than the celestial gods, and betrayal was unthinkable.

Li Hao's expression grew solemn. From what the middle-aged general said, the demon commanders were beings that surpassed first-tier ancient demons. Their status in the ancient demon ranks was incredibly high, comparable to the True Lords among immortals and gods.

These beings were immensely powerful, far beyond what True Immortals could contend with.

Moreover, ancient demons were already stronger than immortals and gods of the same realm. The more formidable the ancient demon, the more terrifying its innate secret arts.

"This is also good news," Li Hao said.

The middle-aged general looked at Li Hao in surprise.

Li Hao smiled at him and said, "Weren't you worried about the outside world? At least now we know there are still other celestial gods. The battle back then didn't completely destroy the True Realm."

The middle-aged general was stunned for a moment, then his eyes lit up.

Yes, if the demons were being summoned, it meant there was a war outside.

The question was, who was attacking? Were the humans launching an assault, or was it another race?

In the True Realm, apart from humans, there were other races as well. The True Realm was vast and boundless, with countless races thriving within it.

However, the ancient demons were the common enemy of all races.

"It seems this battlefield hasn't been forgotten," the middle-aged general muttered.

As he spoke, his eyes turned red, brimming with emotion.

Li Hao was momentarily stunned. After three years of companionship, this was the first time he had seen the middle-aged general cry.

He had faced ancient demons in countless battles, enduring injuries without flinching. Yet now, tears welled in his eyes.

Li Hao tried to put himself in the middle-aged general's shoes and fell silent.

Countless years of hopeless fighting, only to discover that the outside world had not completely perished and that this battlefield had not been abandoned—it was overwhelming.

"It seems we need to hurry. This is a rare chance to escape," Li Hao said.

The middle-aged general regained his composure, looked at Li Hao, and nodded firmly, his emotions surging.

After speaking, Li Hao glanced back at the path they had taken.

His eyes shimmered slightly as he stared for a moment before turning back.

In the following days, Li Hao and the middle-aged general began consuming the demon flesh at a faster pace.

At their current level, they could survive without eating, sustaining themselves on the energy of heaven and earth.

However, eating was both an enjoyment and a means to absorb the soul power within the ancient demons' flesh to enhance their strength.

Three months later, Li Hao and the middle-aged general moved again.

This time, the middle-aged general discovered that the seventh ancient demon territory contained two demon leaders. Still, he did not hesitate to inform Li Hao and launch an assault.

Unlike their first attempt, dealing with two ancient demon leaders this time nearly put them in danger. Fortunately, Li Hao's improvements exceeded the middle-aged general's expectations. He killed a large number of demons, creating an opportunity to turn the tide.

Now, two ancient demon leaders no longer posed a threat to the middle-aged general.

With the middle-aged general taking action, Li Hao also charged into the ancient demon territory.

Hundreds of ancient demons were present, but Li Hao didn't feel the slightest fear. Instead, he had the aura of a lone wolf tearing into a flock of sheep.

He controlled four swords—each found in the lairs of other ancient demon leaders along the way. With his current yuan shen strength, Li Hao could effortlessly wield all four swords at high speed.

In the blink of an eye, the four swords cut through the crowd of ancient demons.

Before the demons could form their formation to reinforce their leader, they were ambushed from behind by Li Hao, who swept through them like a storm.

As their yuan shen separated from their bodies, Li Hao's yuan shen swiftly struck, tearing them apart.

The ancient demons were terrified and joined forces to unleash their innate secret arts, with thick black mist surging toward him.

However, Li Hao's yuan shen burst forth with scorching golden light, piercing directly into the black mist. The golden flames burned through the mist like a fire consuming dry grass.

In terms of yuan shen strength, Li Hao felt that he now surpassed even the ancient demon leaders.

Very soon, this entire territory fell.

The middle-aged general left one demon alive to interrogate. Upon investigating, they discovered that another ancient demon leader had come to discuss preparations for a conscription order.

The two of them grew even more anxious. After a few days of rest and feasting, they continued their assault on other ancient demon territories.

Li Hao stored all the demon corpses in his heaven and earth space.

By the time they reached the tenth ancient demon territory, Li Hao and the middle-aged general decided to take a brief rest.

Li Hao prioritized cooking the flesh of the demon leaders, eating the leaders first before moving on to the second-tier ancient demons to accelerate their strength growth.

These ancient demons were enormous. Even with their massive appetites and ability to fully absorb what they ate, they could barely consume one demon per day.

Especially the demon leaders, whose bodies were thousands of meters tall, resembling mountains. Even with Li Hao and the middle-aged general's voracious appetites, they could only manage to eat half of one per day.

"If these actions are discovered and the demon commander comes here personally, you must escape back to the Di Yang pseudo-realm immediately," the middle-aged general said grimly as he ate roasted meat.

Hearing his words, Li Hao considered for a moment and asked, "Do you have a way to deal with the demon commander? If you can handle them, I can try to hold off the other demon leaders."

The middle-aged general paused, surprised by Li Hao's courage.

"Even if your yuan shen has improved, you need to understand that the ancient demon leaders are True Immortal-level beings. The gap between their celestial power and your strength is immense. A wisp of celestial power alone could flatten an entire mountain range."

The middle-aged general shook his head. Though Li Hao's progress in the past months had been astonishing—going from barely managing to kill third-tier ancient demons to now effortlessly slaughtering hundreds of them, even taking down second-tier ancient demons—his abilities as a saint-level cultivator were already unparalleled.

In the True Realm of the past, a genius like Li Hao would have been accepted into the most elite sects as a disciple.

"Moreover, you don't even have a decent weapon. The broken weapons in your hands, while once celestial artifacts, have long since dulled. They may be sharp enough to kill second-tier ancient demons, but against first-tier ones, you can't even break their skin!"

Li Hao understood this point. The broken weapons had played a significant role in his ability to slaughter the demons, but he hadn't planned on relying on them against demon leaders.

He intended to use his yuan shen directly to attack and hold them off. If the middle-aged general could handle the demon commander, Li Hao believed he could barely create an opportunity for a one-on-one fight.

This plan, however, assumed the intel was accurate and that the number of demon leaders on this ancient road was limited to seven or eight.

"Besides, even with my current strength, I still cannot contend with the demon commanders. They are beings on par with True Lords. You're not an immortal, so you don't understand the vast difference between a True Immortal and a True Lord," the middle-aged general sighed. He understood Li Hao's intentions; the young man was willing to take such risks to help him escape.

As for Li Hao, he was not a True Immortal. In the worst-case scenario, he could retreat back to the pseudo-realm.

The middle-aged general, however, had no such option.

Li Hao frowned slightly. The other man was a True Immortal and therefore could not enter the Zhu Sheng Land.

According to the middle-aged general, Tian Yang Immortal Emperor had established a chaotic law to protect the pseudo-realm. True Immortals could not enter.

However, True Immortals could leave the pseudo-realm, making it a one-way gate. This left the middle-aged general stuck in the battlefield between the True Realm and the pseudo-realm.

That chaotic law, intended to protect the descendants within the pseudo-realm, had weakened over countless years following the Immortal Emperor's fall, which caused cracks to appear in the Xuan Pin Gate.

"If we finish eating all these ancient demons, do you think you can break through?" Li Hao asked.

The middle-aged general hesitated. After annihilating several demon territories, they had amassed a large number of corpses.

If they could consume them all, their strength would undoubtedly soar once more. However, he wasn't confident that it would be enough to allow him to break through.

Moreover, he had a nagging feeling that they didn't have much time left. The conscription order could arrive at any moment.

This thought brought a trace of bitterness to his heart. What was originally meant to be reinforcements had now turned into his death sentence.

If no battle had occurred, there would be no conscription order, and he and Li Hao could have quietly killed the ancient demon leaders one by one. If they killed and consumed all of them, he was confident he could break through to True Lord.

After all, he had been trapped here for far too long.

All he lacked was sufficient celestial power.

"We'll do our best. No matter what happens, your fallback is the pseudo-realm. When the time comes, don't hesitate," the middle-aged general said seriously to Li Hao.

He was prepared to die when the conscription order came. At the very least, he would ensure Li Hao had a chance to escape.

Li Hao nodded. In the face of uncertainty, the best course of action was not to overthink but to handle the immediate tasks at hand.

For now, the only thing they could do was eat, rest, and grow stronger.

With their relentless effort in absorbing the ancient demon flesh, their yuan shen grew at a staggering pace, and the second divine bone also began to condense.

Apart from the divine bones, Li Hao felt that the celestial power accumulating in his body had grown incredibly dense. During his extreme transformation state, he could channel it into vast heaven and earth energy.

Li Hao was certain that no Supreme Saint could withstand the force of this power.

Time flew by.

As Li Hao and the middle-aged general continued their efforts, six months passed.

The stockpile of ancient demon flesh had not yet been depleted. To prepare for the conscription order's sudden arrival, Li Hao and the middle-aged general boarded the bronze war chariot once more, heading for other demon territories.

As the middle-aged general put it, "You never know whether tomorrow or an unexpected event will arrive first. Better to kill as many demons as possible."

His hatred for these ancient demons ran deep.

Many of his comrades and loved ones had fallen to the ancient demons, their souls annihilated without even the chance for reincarnation.

When Li Hao and the middle-aged general reached the fourteenth demon territory and were resting, a second-tier ancient demon suddenly flew into the area.

The middle-aged general was the first to notice and immediately captured it. However, this ancient demon was different—it carried a massive war banner on its back.

The second-tier ancient demon was captured by the middle-aged general. When it looked around and saw the bloody, hellish scene of its comrades' corpses scattered everywhere, its eyes were filled with shock.

"You… you…"

The ancient demon trembled in disbelief. How could there be humans here?

The middle-aged general forcibly plundered its memory and then killed it on the spot.

"Damn it! This was a messenger officer!"

The middle-aged general's expression darkened immediately.

The purpose of this ancient demon's arrival was to deliver a conscription order, calling all the demons under its rule to prepare for war. Now, with the fourteen ancient demon leaders on this ancient road already slain by them, it wouldn't be long before the ancient demon commander realized that a significant portion of its subordinates had disappeared. The commander would inevitably notice them.

"There's no time left. I haven't broken through yet. If that commander detects us, we'll both be finished. You need to get back to the pseudo-realm now!"

The middle-aged general turned to Li Hao and said urgently. At the same time, he looked at the countless ancient demon corpses. "Take these corpses with you as well. Only you can cook them. If we leave them here, they'll just rot."

As he spoke, his expression turned complicated.

After so much struggle and seeing a glimmer of hope, it was now about to shatter.

This was a disaster beyond their control.

Li Hao's face darkened as well. He hadn't expected the situation to become this urgent. If they had just a few more years, with all the ancient demons they had stored, the middle-aged general might have had a real chance to break through.

The hope of survival had been so close, only to be snuffed out suddenly. Li Hao struggled to accept this.

But there was no other choice at the moment.

"Go! Don't hesitate! Being able to meet a friend like you in my final years is something I'll die with no regrets over."

The middle-aged general patted Li Hao on the shoulder and smiled at him.

Li Hao said nothing, silently pondering other possibilities.

The middle-aged general seemed to understand what Li Hao was thinking and shook his head slightly. After countless years of battle here, his outlook had turned pessimistic. He no longer held any hope.

He hadn't expected that the outside war, something he had longed for, would ultimately become the final blow that doomed him.

The middle-aged general prepared to send Li Hao away. He guided the bronze war chariot back toward the canyon entrance.

The two returned to the place where they had first met.

However, before they could say anything, an earth-shaking roar suddenly came from the sky.

At the same time, Li Hao felt a surge of terrifying malice, accompanied by a piercing pain that tugged at his organs. It was an overwhelming force of soul power. Even though it had not yet fully arrived, it already made him feel cold and weak, his entire body trembling uncontrollably.

This was the ancient demon commander?

"Damn it!"

The middle-aged general's face turned pale. He hadn't expected the ancient demon commander to notice them so quickly.

He quickly realized his mistake. There must have been something on the messenger officer's body. The moment it died, the ancient demon commander likely sensed it and rushed over immediately.

"Bastards!"

In the sky, a colossal ancient demon thousands of meters tall descended. Its body no longer resembled the grotesque bat-like figures of the others but instead appeared as a headless human-like demon.

It had four pairs of fleshy wings on its back, two monstrous mouths in its chest cavity, and its lower body ended in a massive snake tail.

Seeing that most of its subordinates on the ancient road had been wiped out, the ancient demon commander's rage was overwhelming, its eyes glowing blood-red.

With war on the horizon, its rear lines were now in complete chaos. It was on the verge of madness.

"Run!"

The middle-aged general shouted urgently to Li Hao.

At the same time, his entire body erupted with celestial power, and a silver crack appeared on his forehead—his celestial mark.

His yuan shen emerged, and he drew an ancient sword. A brief hesitation flashed across his eyes. He knew that this step would lead to both his and his sword's end, but he had no regrets.

In the next instant, he stepped forward resolutely. Without turning back, he said to Li Hao:

"Don't worry about me. Live on. I believe that one day, you will step out of here again!"

"If that day comes, don't forget to visit Guang Ya Zong and find a woman with the surname Li."

"Tell her… I waited!"

With that, he rushed toward the ancient demon commander, carrying a tragic determination.

Li Hao's heart trembled violently. Facing the ancient demon commander, even with all his progress over the past three years, his powerful yuan shen now felt as insignificant as an ant.

This feeling was even more suffocating than when he first encountered the ancient demon leaders.

"None of you will escape!"

The ancient demon commander roared savagely. It had lost its soldiers just as war was about to begin, and its fury had reached the brink of collapse.

It unleashed a terrifying pressure, instantly freezing the space around them.

Li Hao's body suddenly locked up. He couldn't move. Even his yuan shen was suppressed within his body, unable to break free.

Beyond that, the power of heaven and earth froze completely. The only two figures capable of moving were the middle-aged general and the ancient demon commander.

However, the middle-aged general's movements were painfully slow, as though he were walking against a violent storm.

Li Hao struggled with all his might, trying to unleash his extreme transformation, but his body refused to respond. All his internal power was suppressed.

Such a display of power was beyond his comprehension, and a trace of madness flashed in his eyes.

Was he really going to die here?

While Li Hao struggled to break free, the ancient demon commander's attack struck the middle-aged general. With a single claw, it smashed him into the ground, creating a massive crater.

"So that's it. A True Immortal peak, already approaching True Lord level. No wonder you managed to kill so many of my subordinates. Damn you! You deserve to die!"

The ancient demon commander howled in rage, grabbing the middle-aged general and pummeling him mercilessly. It did not kill him immediately, instead wanting to make him suffer an excruciating death.

The middle-aged general spat blood, his yuan shen scorched and its power being siphoned away. He knew this was an ancient demon technique, a method to turn his yuan shen into nourishment.

He swung his sword desperately, but his weapon couldn't pierce the demon's skin.

After more than a dozen strikes, the middle-aged general's yuan shen dimmed, and the divine bone within it began to lose its luster.

"With yuan shen this strong, it will be delicious. As for that saint-level one over there, his yuan shen isn't bad either. I'll crush your souls bit by bit!"

The ancient demon commander transmitted its thoughts directly into their minds. It wanted the two of them to die in fear and despair.

Boom!

At that moment, a piercing sound rang out from the distant horizon.

A spiraling spear of light shot across tens of thousands of miles, tearing through the void and creating a vortex storm as it pierced the air.

The ancient demon commander's pupils shrank in shock. It hadn't expected the other party to arrive so quickly.

It hurriedly turned to defend itself but was still pierced through its claw by the spear.

Immediately after, a crimson shadow streaked through the air, appearing with incredible speed.

A woman with flowing black hair and clad in dazzling red battle armor arrived. Her eyes were cold and sharp as she reclaimed the spear and glared at the ancient demon commander with disdain.

When her gaze shifted to the canyon, she noticed the bronze war chariot beside Li Hao. Recognizing its structure, her eyes flickered slightly. She quickly realized that it was an artifact from ancient times, still retaining some power.

Her gaze briefly swept over Li Hao. Seeing that he was merely saint-level, her brow furrowed slightly in surprise.

"Die!"

Without hesitation, she lunged forward with her spear, charging straight at the ancient demon commander.
