Zen didn't need to intervene; it was the Swan King who acted fast pulling his underling off of Carrot top before he could do some serious damage and cripple the guy.
Who knew swans could look elegant and charming even when fighting without breaking a sweat as the swan tossed his underling aside.
The reckless young shifter hit his head in a tree and crumpled to the ground but it was not enough to knock him out cold.
Swan King Zavier went over and whispered something in his ears and the poor soul managed to look contrite and ashamed but no apologies to Carrot top were forthcoming.
"I'm sorry about what just happened," said the Swan King, "it is a tense situation for most of my men. They are inexperienced and therefore more reactive since they are not as trained as I would have wanted them to be but I had no choice but to take them with me. So you can also see they are quite young and this is their first rogue hunt. My enforcer Fox will tell you all that he knows."
