A breakthrough in form and a surge in power level was a good thing, but completely enraging Champa meant things wouldn't be so easy to settle next.
At the center of the God of Destruction's Planet, atop that towering purple giant tree.
Champa was embedded in the surface of the tree, his face dark as ink, his body brewing with profound destructive light.
With a thunderous 'boom!!!!', Champa broke free from the giant tree.
Only now, he looked somewhat dangerous, on the verge of exploding.
Talot had already anticipated this. The flames of battle intent burning in his eyes grew even more intense as he rubbed his fists together, eager to fight.
"That fight just now was nothing more than a small spar. What comes next is the real show!" Talot stretched his limbs, the God Ki within his body further stimulated, burning endlessly.
"Brat, don't think that just because your strength has improved a little, you can contend with a God of Destruction. In my eyes, you're nothing more than a wild god!!" With a furious shout, Champa took the initiative to attack, his entire body engulfed in purple flames, carrying incomparable destructive might as he charged toward Talot.
His speed was extremely fast. Talot had no time to dodge and could only take a defensive stance to face him head-on.
With a loud 'boom!!!', Talot's body was swept away by the force and sent flying.
But while being knocked back, Talot quickly regained control of his body, performed a spatial jump, and threw a powerful punch that struck Champa square in the chest. The overbearing power forced Champa to be driven back once again.
However, with Champa's tough and resilient body, this attack only pushed him back.
An attack of this level couldn't even cause superficial wounds to a serious Champa!
"Hakai!!!" Champa spread his hands, Power of Destruction surging around him.
In the blink of an eye, dozens of deep purple Spheres of Destruction appeared out of thin air, as dazzling as stars, incomparably brilliant.
"I can do tricks like that too!! Divine Power Spiraling Bombs!!" Talot spread his hands, divine power surging around him. Within the space surrounding his body, dozens of deep blue spiral-shaped energy spheres appeared.
In the next second, both sides moved simultaneously. Under the control of their will, the Spheres of Destruction and the deep blue Divine Power Spiraling Bombs shot out at the same time, colliding with each other.
'Boom!! Boom!!! Boom!! Boom!!! Boom!! Boom!!!…'
A world-destroying series of massive explosions shook everything.
The entire God of Destruction's Planet trembled continuously under the chain of explosions.
After the first round of bombardment ended, a massive wall of flames spread across the sky.
In this exchange, neither side gained any advantage.
Champa's Power of Destruction was indeed domineering, but the current Talot was not necessarily inferior to him. Perfected Super Saiyan Blue didn't just increase his power level; combined with Talot's mastery over the Power of Destruction, neutralizing attacks of this level was effortless.
The battle fell into a brief stalemate, and the atmosphere became extraordinarily heavy.
A devastating divine power storm swept across the heavens and earth, completely dispersing the flames of the explosion. Talot and Champa moved at the same time.
The fierce battle erupted once more!
'Bang!!'
'Boom!!'
'Thud!!'
'Boom!!!'
…
Their intense clash twisted and turned through the high sky. Every collision alone sent shockwaves that made space tremble.
If not for the space of the God of Destruction's Planet being sturdy enough, their power would have already shattered it and entered another dimension.
Below, in the spectator area, Whis, Vados, and Beerus watched the battle with great interest.
For Vados, this was a battle that would make Champa recognize himself. A God of Destruction might stand at the pinnacle of the universe, but they could not remain at the top forever.
If one does not train diligently, certain powerful beings in the universe will sooner or later catch up and replace them.
Talot is the best example of this.
"Not bad. This kid can actually fight Champa to this extent. It's been a long time since I've seen Champa suffer such a setback." Beerus grinned from ear to ear.
"However, if things continue like this, I'm afraid Lord Champa will have to bring out even greater power to deal with Talot," Whis said with some concern.
Champa's combat techniques were inferior to Talot's, so he would resort to releasing even greater power to fight him.
When it came to that point, Talot would likely suffer a great disadvantage.
Unless he could break through his limits once again, but was that even possible?
Even though his talent was extraordinarily monstrous, to undergo another transformation in such a short time was simply impossible.
…
High in the sky.
The battle continued to escalate.
Champa's furious attacks were as swift as thunder, each move and strike extremely lethal and ferocious.
But Talot was no inferior to him. This level of battle was exactly what Talot desired. Champa's attacks fully activated the fighting genes within his body.
At this moment, Talot's movements in battle became extremely strange—sometimes as swift as thunder, sharp and fierce, and at other times eerie and ghostlike, unpredictable.
This was because the two different forms, Ultra Ego and Ultra Instinct, were vying for dominance, also determining what kind of path Talot would take in the future.
[He's already begun to truly come into contact with two different kinds of power? I'm quite curious which path you'll ultimately choose, kid.] Beerus held his chin with his right hand, thinking to himself.
Although choosing Ultra Instinct wouldn't be a bad option, what he hoped more was for Talot to follow the same path as him—enter the state of Ultra Ego and completely master the Power of Destruction. That way, he could rightfully become his God of Destruction candidate.
[Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego… he's choosing… No! He's training both of these different powers at the same time. They're influencing him, controlling him… judging by the current situation, Ultra Instinct seems more likely…] Vados thought to herself.
Being able to master Ultra Instinct was an incredibly unbelievable feat.
If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, even she wouldn't have believed it.
And now he had also grasped Ultra Ego—this was simply defying the heavens.
At the side, Whis's thoughts were meticulous.
