Chapter 247 - Chapter 125 Super Saiyan 2 and Super Saiyan 4! (Part 1)

"When it's time to really go look for Frieza, I'll come see you again, Lord Kai. Also, please keep monitoring Frieza's movements for us at all times."

"Well then, we'll take our leave for now, Lord Kai."

As those words fell, Talot, Salari, and Raditz left Grand Kai's Planet.

It wasn't until they disappeared from sight that North Kai let out a sigh.

He was increasingly feeling that Talot and the others had far too simple and naïve thought processes.

He could only hope that, once Frieza emerges this time, he won't become overwhelmingly powerful….powerful enough to completely disregard a Super Saiyan.

After all, with the precedent set by Cooler, it was hard for North Kai to believe Frieza's strength would only increase slightly.

Just take King Cold, for example. Even though he merely went back to his home planet and stayed with Frieza for a month or two, when he came back out, his strength had already vastly surpassed his past self.

North Kai was lost in thought. No one disturbed him, and no one dared say anything. Even Olibu tactfully stayed to the side.

To be fair, when it came to the warriors of the North Area, it was really only Talot and his group who dared to speak so freely with Lord Kai. Everyone else would feel a significant amount of pressure in his presence.

…..

Earth.

West City.

Back at home, Talot and Salari met Bulma, whom they hadn't seen in a long time.

Although they would return every now and then to stay for a day or two, this time it had been over a month since they last saw each other.

For Bulma, she had already grown used to this kind of life.

Although she used to complain at first, over time she came to understand the goals Talot and the others were pursuing, and so she had always been a strong supporter behind the scenes.

With Talot and the others back, Bulma naturally and affectionately threw herself into Talot's arms.

Salari had no issue with it as she had long grown used to it.

They were both Talot's women, and their relationship had already been confirmed.

Even though they hadn't held any sort of wedding ceremony, for Saiyans, such formalities weren't necessary.

That said, Bulma had always been preparing and thinking about how to throw herself a grand wedding.

Even if it meant marrying Talot together with Salari.

This world's Earth didn't have the same conservative mindset as Talot's previous world, nor did it have a strict rule that male-female relationships must follow monogamy.

In other words, it was also because Talot was outstanding and powerful enough, seizing every opportunity to take the lead, which made the situation not entirely unacceptable.

In truth, neither of them wanted to let go. Not only did Talot not want to give anyone up, but Bulma also didn't want to just hand him over to Salari.

As for Salari, she was even less willing to give up the man she had already recognized as hers.

After having a hearty lunch at home, Talot and Salari saw Raditz off.

Bulma's home in West City had become Talot's home, so ever since they got together, they had basically settled here.

Raditz, on the other hand, had to return to Mount Paozu. Since his mother, Gine, had settled in Mount Paozu, Raditz had also taken up residence there.

And back at his home, Launch was also waiting for him to return.

After getting together with Launch, even though they never held a wedding ceremony like Talot, their straightforward and carefree personalities made them grow more and more compatible as time went on.

You could say Raditz was lucky that he ended up with the blonde-haired Launch. Otherwise, not to mention now, even a few years down the line he'd still definitely be single.

Although the blonde-haired Launch wasn't as gentle and virtuous as the blue-haired one, she also didn't come off as fragile or overly delicate.

It was fortunate it wasn't the blue-haired Launch, otherwise Raditz definitely would've started to dislike her over time.

After all, Saiyans are a very primitive race and never beat around the bush.

In fact, to most men, the blue-haired Launch was more attractive than the blonde one. After all, what man doesn't like a beautiful, gentle, and virtuous big-sister-type woman?

Talot originally thought that after Raditz made the wish to separate the two Launch, the blue-haired Launch would gradually fall for him.

But he later realized he was overthinking it. The one who liked Raditz was only the blonde-haired Launch.

Just like in the original work, even though the blonde-haired Launch liked Tien Shinhan, once she reverted to the blue-haired Launch, she'd find the whole thing inexplicable.

In the original work, the key reason why Tien Shinhan and Launch eventually went their separate ways was also this.

Actually, the original work's Tien Shinhan could've just used the Dragon Balls to wish for Launch to be split...

But it's fair to say Tien Shinhan was a classic martial arts fanatic. He had no real interest in Launch.

In the original work's anime plot, it wasn't until right before the Tournament of Power arc that a junior female apprentice appeared by Tien Shinhan's side to develop his romance subplot, but this kind of forced pairing really made people cringe inside and out.

…..

On the rooftop terrace of the second floor, Talot sat quietly on the lounge sofa, digesting his meal.

Salari and Bulma were by his side.

In addition to them, Brief and Bulma's mother, Bikini, were also present.

Because Talot was their son-in-law, and since he had finally returned home, they came over on their own initiative to greet him and say hello.

But compared to Bikini, who just came by to take a look and cheekily take advantage of hera son-in-law, Brief had encountered a bottleneck in his scientific research and came to consult Talot.

Over the years, the ideas Talot had intentionally or unintentionally shared, just a slight intellectual nudge, could lead Brief and Bulma to explore new directions and stretch their abilities. So whenever Brief hit a wall, he would contact Talot, gain a bit of inspiration, and then try to break through again.

Clearly, this time Brief got what he wanted too. Even though Talot just casually mentioned a few fantasy scientific ideas from animated films and novels of his past life, it greatly broadened Brief's horizons.

In a sense, any thought, as long as it can be conceived, can be realized through science in some form.

For example, before last year, Brief had been very interested in the Instant Transmission technique that Talot and Salari used. Under Talot's suggestion, he began researching it. Not long after, he developed a teleportation device. By wearing it, as long as the destination had a receiver, it allowed for instantaneous travel within a certain range.

Such black tech was practically defying the laws of nature.

Even though it could only be used within Earth for now, Earth itself is no small place.

To be honest, that concept was something Talot casually made up based on the setting of a novel from his previous life. Who would've thought it'd actually end up being successfully researched?
