What were their motivations? Both of them repeated the question in their minds.
For Rowan, it was simply to get rid of the demon lair and bring his people into this city. He had no personal motivation like revenge for a deceased loved one.
As for D'andre, his reason was far more personal than the two leaders in his presence. His sole reason for entering the demon lair was to grow stronger and obtain unique skills that only existed within them.
D'andre did not want to share that. Both of them figured Colt would be a good addition to their team, so at least for now, they had to maintain a good relationship.
