Chapter 38 - Overconfident Immortality

"That's the address..." She said as she stood in her home, her ear pressed against the glass screen of her cell phone.

Slowly, Mathew crawled up over the edge of her sandal and slid into the small space provided by her raised heel. With each beat of his tiny heart, a mixture of overly addictive and intense pleasure and adrenaline pulsed through his body. The further he went into his new array of lives spanning these universes, the more reckless he became and the more he accepted his place now. There had to be a reason he was experiencing this, and perhaps complete and total acceptance was the way? Besides, once she felt him in there she was sure to react somehow...

He lay on his back as she continued her conversation, his tiny eyes picking up every minute detail of her incredible sole. Teasingly her heel would drop down every so often, but only a few inches before lifting back up. He had slid himself far enough down [REDACTED]. He was far, far more sensitive now than he had ever been in his life before. Again and again the dropping heel would threaten to take him to another realm once more, stopping to idly hover every so often.

Maybe she'd feel him? At least make him a pet of some sort before he inevitably died once again. He hadn't seen this girl before that he knew of, so perhaps she was someone who would take care of him... Though, at this point in his spiritual journey, he wasn't sure if that's actually what he wanted.

"Melanie..." He heard her mention her name to the person over the phone...

And with that, he knew exactly who he was beneath. As soon as he came to the realization, the heel that was teasing him so well a moment ago fell as she shifted her weight to the right. Her left heel lifted as her weight settled down into place, and Mathew had disappeared. Air was forced from his lungs as he felt her skin bear down on him for only a moment before his tiny bones began to crackle beneath her. She could feel him there, but she wasn't concerned with his plight. She didn't even break stride in her conversation over the phone as the little one beneath her foot struggled to keep from flattening completely.

All he could hear were muffled voices at this point as his head was forced to the side. His tiny eyes bulged from his skull as it began to oblong slightly beneath the pressure as it threatened to splatter... Bones began to pop out of joint before splintering and fracturing as muscle was torn from bone simply by pressure alone. It wasn't long before his side split, allowing his insides a place to escape to. Just as his vision began to blur and fade, her foot lifted from him... He could see some blood staining her skin, but he was stuck to her sandal's sole.

~Clap~

The heel of her sandal slapped up against her skin, batting Mathew back into her sole for a moment as her foot slid through the air. The pressure rolled up his body in her stride, fracturing his tiny skull and dislocating his jaw just before every rib in his chest shattered almost at once. His tiny hips, without the support of the muscle structure of his abdomen and the bowels within, snapped apart at the tailbone.

~Clap~

The pleasure that was so intense was replaced once again with an overwhelming pain as he was mercilessly trodden upon. With a sickening squelch, his vision faded to black once more.

That was the beginning of a long day, though she didn't bother taking the time to clean him off. She walked on his carcass, flattening it carelessly into the sole of her sandal as she went about her business... At the end of the day, she simply kicked off her footwear and walked away.

It was just a bug after all, if she walked on it long enough, it would go away on it's own...
