"I'm pleased that I can be of help, Count Klein." Neyeid politely bowed.
"No, no. I should be the one thanking you. With this, our people can get more food."
"I don't deserve such high praise."
The count patted Neyeid's shoulder. But before he could say something, someone knocked on the door.
"Hmm? Who?"
"It is Shuren, my lord."
"Come in." The count couldn't help but furrow his eyebrows as his butler entered the room.
The butler walked toward the count and whispered something that changed the count's expression.
"..." Neyeid was observing their reaction. It was supposed to be a happy occasion, but the count was actually frowning. What did the butler actually say?
The count nodded and hurriedly turned to Neyeid, smiling as if nothing had happened. "Thank you for today. Unfortunately, I have an important matter right now, so I'll take my leave."
