The emperor contemplated for a moment before shaking his head. "Although this is a good opportunity to get information from you, I believe you should change your question.
"Even if I'm going to give you that question, it will be better for you to get the information directly from that person."
"!!!" Nathan raised his eyebrows as if he didn't expect the emperor to reject this question. Nathan recalled again. This might be the reason he was known as the emperor who ruled with reward and punishment.
What was required to enforce that rule was integrity. The emperor planned to uphold that integrity even though the opportunity was right before him.
Nathan asked, "Then, who is that person?"
"Grand Duke Johnson. His family was destroyed during that retaliation. His wife was murdered, his kids were dismembered, and their bodies were hung in front of the city.
"His hatred of the Death Society was the strongest among our people."
