She gripped her enemy's hand tightly, bound within the cage that was her own ribcage.
"{Swap}." (Sariel)
Her body dropped limp at a further distance away, the inanimate arm still lodged in her torso. Her body was her Oblivion Magia, the enemy's magic resistance was overturned in that space and she was allowed to take the arm with her. 2 conditions, expanding her oblivion Magia outside and inside. She propped her body up, blood dripping off her lips. A devastating kick strikes at her head, crushing her skull and brain. She laid on the ground too long, now she would die for it. The battlefield rests for no one.
"... The Oblivion Magia, it's not fading away!" ({Nerve})
She won't die. She'll develop her abilities, grow stronger beyond measure. She'll realise the full capabilities of {Swap} the head that got crushed was not her own. An A grade could survive a decapitation or two. She switched out her own head for the arm, which got so busted up it exploded and couldn't resemble a head or an arm. She then {Swapped} her body to where she had sent her head away. Her body regenerated instantly, the separation was so precise there wasn't even any damage to her cells.
"You're not getting out of this alive." (Sariel)
The victory condition cannot fall from something this trivial. She stands firmly in front of {Nerve}'s deathly glare. Almost as if she was being pulled by the strings of destiny. Her actions mirror Yggdrasil's, lowering her centre of gravity and raising her fists. She was the one who taught Yggdrasil hand to hand combat. If she could inspire such security in the strongest person she admired, then perhaps she had a chance. Perhaps she was much more than she believed to be. Such a qualitative change in her thinking was being ruminated over, as if multiple lifetimes had been lived through, as if she was becoming a different person.
Naturally, none of these descriptions could quite capture what she was feeling in her heart. The world itself seemed to like it had gone under a different lense, every minute details seemed slightly different. {Nerve} rushed in to attack, she moves to the right minimally, dodging completely. {Nerve}'s toughness seems to grow with time, but his speed and attack potency was the exact same. From the back, buildings begin to rise from her side of the Oblivion Magia confrontation. Her figure vanishes.
"After saying all that, you now hide?" ({Nerve})
"Don't worry, I won't run. I'll be hunting you down." (Sariel)
Her voice came from no particular direction, entering his ears. Each declaration an insult to his seething wrath. With a casual flick, a building has its entire side punctured and collapsing. These are memories, these skyscrapers were of similar make to all the school institutions she's been to. The rest of the residential zone was filled with houses that don't reach too high, it was hard for any local to mistake these skyscrapers.
The moment the arm was severed, it lost the defensive magic. It became as vulnerable as any human limb and disintegrated when substituting for Sariel's head earlier. The dark blue territory forms sharp blackstone pikes, the pikes then rose their tips aimed like a gun's barrel, before firing a barrage at the skyscrapers. Concentrating the fire instead of spreading it out, it instantly shattered a building in half. Gradually, the 'cover' was being reduced to rubble.
"... Right there." ({Nerve})
For a while now, an ominous feeling plagued her chilly back. Her combat dress fully covered most of her skin, it was an unnatural feeling. Why did {Nerve} immediately concentrate his fire? He's been shooting at the same spot for a while now... She spins a kick onto the building next to her, knocking debris into the air. A fist leaves through the smoke, parting it into clear air.
When it cleared, Sariel was gone. Her territory has been losing ground for a while now, she hadn't noticed earlier over her live feed because it was just the camera nearest to {Nerve}. Using {Swap} to continuously capture light and send it to herself, it didn't show the top down view. If it had, she'd notice her Oblivion Magia shrunk and surrounded. Like a gold circle laying atop a far larger dark blue circle.
Though it made little difference, he was already in her territory. It would have been troublesome if he didn't step in himself, believing in the isolation capabilities of {Nerve}. She could somewhat guess what he's thinking, due to the power of {Nerve} isolating time and space, wherever he walked would be his Oblivion Magia. How wrong. Even {Nerve} can become a target for {Swap} in her own space.
"Oblivion Magia Recoat!" (Sariel)
She appeared before him as he busted down the next skyscraper with a tackle, reaching her location. Smoke, concrete clouds and shattered glass collapse to the ground behind him.
"USELESS USELESS USELESS!!! USELESS! USELESS! USELESS! USELESS! USELESS! USELESS! USELESS! USELESS! " ({Nerve})
With 3 punches, he begins raining a barrage of fists like a storm of bullet steel from a machine gun. His fists connects, and his knuckles affirm with stimuli. His attacks are landing, this will be the victory lap! He powers through and burns the rest of his magic energy, panting as he hit as fast and hard as he could.
"URAAAHHHH!!!!!" ({nerve})
With one final punch, the pile of flesh before him gets pulverised and explodes into a mist of blood. Streams of blood fly into the air, as did countless tiny chunks of flesh.
"Haa~ haa~ haa~" ({Nerve})
Strange, why was he breathing so heavily? How many centuries had it been since he had such laboured breath? The edges of his vision began to blur, the details on the meat mannequin before him become hard to discern.
"...od....e..." (?)
A strange murmur slip out from the corpse before him. Still alive?! He attempted to step back with caution, but... His legs wouldn't obey. What's going on? His body has been acting strange for a while.
" Goodbye." (Sariel)
More and more flesh falls off of the figure before him. Revealing not pink meat... But pale skin instead. What he assaulted was the enemy wearing his own skin, he hadn't noticed as his hands weren't targeted. Since contact between his body never broke, {Nerve} properly protected his scattered bits of body and Sariel. The only one receiving damage was {Nerve} who had lost copious amounts of blood.
The figure before him vanishes and his vision turns dark forever.
