Silence hung over the playground like a heavy curtain. The other team had lost. Nevan's team was the one who came out as victorious. Both teams were silent, however their reasons were entirely different. The other team was taking their time to stomach the defeat while Nevan's team just realizing that they had won.

The words hung there but he was not paying attention to that. It was the fact that Nevan felt someone throw themselves over him that made him move.
"Good job! We did it!" Natsu's words held the joyous note that was still reluctantly spreading in Nevan's body. The smile on his face was real and the joy and pride he felt a product of what they had achieved just now.
