Chapter 47 - AT MEGURDIA

Zen entered the train and it departed from the station towards Megurdia. With a number of 1200 passengers in the train, the steam engine pulled every coach and disappeared along the shining horizon and reflective tracks.

One day is already over and it is morning. The Geography had greatly changed and now the train was travelling through the only desert in the whole continent which was in Drakolovia. The Pailos desert. With a strong gust of winds and amidst an ocean of sand, along the railway tracks the train moved. The train arrived at the only station in the desert province, the Pailos Central. To Zen's surprise, there was a crowd waiting on the other platform. The train arrived on the other platform and the next moment Zen was filled with rage. The one who stepped foot on that platform was his sworn enemy, Gratius. Gratius felt the murderous intent and turned back and smiled and said," Woah! You are here, I am meeting too many Beschimers these days. First, it was your brother and now you, I think we are bound by the chain of fate after all." Zen said," I think our gap is decreasing over time and the next time we meet, I will be the one to cease your existence." Both of them walked away. Zen entered his train and Gratius walked out of the station and waved his hand. He looked back and grinned.

The train departed from the station and Zen slept. When he woke up the moon was over his head already, it was dark and really cold in the desert. He took his blanket and slept again. A bright sunshine fell on his closed eyes. The hesitant eyes opened and saw the brilliant sunshine of the noon smelled the aroma of the approaching sea, heard the sound of the rising waves and without knowing the train was moving adjacent to the coastline. The bright sunshine sparkled the waters and increased the coastal hue. Zen quickly opened the windows and the coastal wind quickly hit his face which made him fall back to his head. He felt pleasant looked at the blue sky and said to himself," The Eastern Sea is a real maiden." He woke up and stared at the sea while eating coconut candy and drinking cold orange juice. This was more than a coastal feast for his stomach and mind. The train finally arrived at the Megurdia station and this was the most beautiful station that he had seen in 17 years. Behind the station was the sparkling sapphire sea and on the other side, a road to the Megurdia city. He crossed the tracks walked along the road and gradually reached the city centre. He searched for a restaurant and he found one that serves mouth-watering sea delicacies. The seaside cuisine was in a league of its own. The starter was the coconut vine, the transparent vine that resembled the sea. He drank it while enjoying the far-off sea voice. The next was the main dish. The fried fish with roasted prawns, the steams were still rising from each of them and the coated spices made him even more hungry. He ate them in a flash and at the Tender coconut ice cream and retired to his room.

He slept there for hours, through his ears he heard the noise of something exploding. He woke up and saw a vibrant fireworks. Megurdia would always celebrate the fireworks festival at the end of spring to remind each of them about the spring and to make them excited for the spring next year. Zen jumped out of the window and rushed to the beach, his eyes sparkled and it was a visual feast for him. That moment he thought to himself," No need to think about the battles that will come in the future or might happen next moment. Just focus on the present and enjoy it because it is the only thing that you can enjoy."

The next day was the day of departure. His ferry arrived at the port and he stood before it. He looked back at the city and bowed humbly before it. He boarded the ferry, showed his ticket and was finally on the front deck of it. He looked towards the city and looked on to the vast sea and there he saw an island which was miles away. He said," I am coming Norovia." He had a determined look on his eyes and the ferry left the port. He thanked the city for reminding him of something very important and stood there ready to face everything that was to fall upon him, whether the good or bad
