An Zhichen had been looking for Zhou Shu's whereabouts all day, but Zhou Shu seemed to have vanished from Haikou, not even leaving a shadow to trace, which made An Zhichen somewhat irritable. Haikou has a population of over a million, and if someone intentionally hides, it's very hard to find them.
An Zhichen led people to search one place after another, but even when night fell, they hadn't found anything. An Zhichen said viciously, "Even if you have to dig three feet into the ground, get Zhou Shu out for me."
That tone of hatred made the few generals nearby feel a chill in their hearts. They muttered to themselves, wondering if their General had some deep-seated enmity with Zhou Shu.
Ah Kai said, "Junior General, there's no need to worry. Haikou's port has been blocked, and all the places leading to the sea have been sealed. All the boats, big and small, have been detained. Zhou Shu won't be able to fly away even if he has wings."
