"I knelt before him and begged him, but he wouldn't listen at all. He kept doing those things to me over and over again, it was worse than death... Before, Ah Wu and I were loving in that room. Ah Wu is dead, but I often go to that room. I always feel like Ah Wu hasn't left, he's there. Last night, when he assaulted me, I seemed to see Ah Wu; he was angry, he was blaming me for doing such things." At this point, Lianxin paused for a moment and then continued, "So, I took advantage of his frenzy and pushed him down..."
Tang Qingxue was also shocked after hearing it, not expecting such heinous things to happen right under her nose.
"Lianxin, why didn't you call for help?"
Lianxin shook her head while crying, "I didn't dare. Everyone already looked down on me. My cousin doesn't like me, and now I'm pregnant out of wedlock. The father of the child has passed away before the baby is born. This is already very inauspicious, I can't let people look down on me even more."
