Deep night, mysterious monastery.
Long Linger followed behind the nun, hurriedly moving forward. Throughout, she was worried about Long Lingli's safety, thus her steps were quick.
In the innermost room, the nun pushed open the door. In the dim room, Long Lingli lay on the bed, face pale, deep in a coma.
"Second brother!!" Long Linger rushed over, grabbed Long Lingli's hand, and shook it forcefully. However, no matter how she called out, he wouldn't open his eyes.
The nun stood next to them, silently lifting the quilt from his body, revealing a series of bloody and mangled wounds, appearing as if they were clawed by a monster's sharp talons. The claw marks were deep and the edges dark and bruised; the entire chest was ripped apart. Though it had medication applied, it looked still so shocking, evoking fear.
"How did my second brother end up like this?" Tears welled up in Long Linger's eyes.
Long Linger let go of Long Lingli's hand, stood up, and looked at the nun.
