Germany's Heishti Prison...
This is a nameless island located in the middle of the sea, barren except for an ancient and solid prison. Tall brick walls and electric wires isolate it from the outside world.
Imprisoned here are the most heinous criminals from all over the world. In other words, once you step through the gates of this prison, you'll never have a chance to leave. The so-called life imprisonment doesn't mean you get to spend all your remaining days here; it rather means the end of all your remaining days. Most people who come here will die miserably, and only a very few can survive in such harsh conditions.
And Xiao Mo is one of those very few. Here, there is no concept of time; time seems to stand still. All you can see are the pitch-black walls on all sides. If you're lucky, you might get about ten minutes of free time a day... In those ten minutes, you can enjoy a brief moment of fresh air or look up at the tiny patch of sky.
