The buzz cut guy looked at Xiaofeng's smile. Of course, he understood that she wasn't negotiating with them but speaking in a commanding tone.
The few guys behind him listened to Xiaofeng and immediately protested.
"You bitch, you think you can threaten us with that? Hand it over, or we'll show you a thing or two." Thinking that a mere recording could let her control them was obviously out of the question. As one of the men spoke, he stepped forward to snatch it.
Xiaofeng sidestepped and avoided him.
"If you want to meet the criminal investigation brigade captain, that's possible. I can arrange an introduction for you, really." Xiaofeng was certainly not going to let them get it.
The buzz cut guy stopped his brother, saying to Xiaofeng, "Don't get mad, my brother is just impulsive. It's just helping you supervise the place, no big deal, we'll do it. But remember your words, don't hand us over to the police."
