Xiaofeng listened to what Gu Dabao said, her lips twitching, as she just wanted to try and get along with the little dragonfly as well as Dabao did.
It seemed that Dabao really could communicate with the little dragonfly.
The dragonfly could fly to Dabao's shoulder but wouldn't let her catch it. Clearly, the dragonfly knew Dabao posed no threat, but it perceived danger if it landed on her hand.
"I just wanted to see if I could catch it. That little dragonfly is so strange, why isn't it afraid of you? I hadn't even reached out, and it flew away," Xiaofeng said with a hint of regret, she had thought she would be able to catch it.
"Because we're both little kids," Gu Dabao said solemnly, "Because we are children, the little dragonfly is extra friendly to me and my sister."
"So that's how it is," Xiaofeng nodded, "Let's go down the mountain later and play with them, we'll go up the mountain first to see if there's any game."
