The Emperor was enraged, and several of the Imperial Forbidden Guards trembled while lying on the ground.
Previously, in the entire Imperial court, only the War Prince dared to disregard the Emperor. Now, there's another Madam Situ, more problematic is that she's also the War Prince's woman. This is something the Emperor finds hardest to tolerate.
Staying silent while lying on the ground wasn't a solution either. One of the Imperial Forbidden Guards braced himself and said tremblingly, "Empero...Emperor, how about I go to the War Prince's Mansion and try to bring those young ladies back as soon as possible?"
They feared that if they delayed even a step, the ladies would be defiled, and by then, it would be beyond remedy.
To provoke a war with the neighboring country for no reason, they felt this was unjust to the Emperor; the War Prince hadn't anticipated this, yet got himself involved.
