Yang Qiu pressed her lips into a smile, it seemed she really was overthinking.
The Wang Big Brother in her memory was still a thin and weak little bean, no matter how she thought about it, he didn't match the robust man in front of her. From the moment he entered the courtyard, she had concluded that he was not the person she knew.
"I don't even know where he is now, afraid there's no chance." Yang Qiu's eyes dimmed as she spoke.
"Is that so? Are you very familiar with the one called Wang Kui?"
Wang Kui usually wasn't much of a talker, but seeing Yang Qiu today, he couldn't help wanting to say a few more words.
"Yes, sort of, he helped me a lot before." Yang Qiu replied, then stood up, "Wang Big Brother, you must be busy just returning, I won't disturb you."
Seeing Yang Qiu was about to leave, Wang Kui spoke up, "Shall I see you off?"
"No need, it's broad daylight, perfectly safe, and it's not far, I can walk myself." Yang Qiu declined as she stepped out the door.
