Victor stubbed out the cigarette butt forcefully in the already overflowing ashtray. "Over at the Anti-Corruption Bureau, I'll get them moving. You coordinate, provide clues if needed, coordinate forces when necessary. This time, there must be blood. Without some blood, some people don't remember the pain."
"Yes!"
Casare hesitated and said, "Boss, don't be too… We've come a long way; it's not been easy. Some people have changed, but more have not. I believe most of the brothers are still willing to follow you and fight for Mexico."
Victor glanced at him, his expression slightly softened. He waved his hand gently, signaling Casare to get busy, before turning his gaze back to the dazzling yet complex city lights outside the window.
Casare gently closed the door, quickly leaving.
The study returned to silence.
