On the academy parade ground, rows of new recruit classes lined up like tofu blocks.
In total, there were eighteen classes, numbering about five hundred and fifty people.
Among them, the command department had the fewest people, with less than fifty individuals in two classes, but these fifty were the elite of the elite, at least proficient in one or two foreign languages, capable of seamless listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Their personal physical fitness also had to meet certain standards, simply put, they had to be able to keep at least three to five people at bay and run five kilometers without breaking a sweat.
Of course, the most important thing was that they must not get seasick.
Painted on the academy walls was the Navy's motto—"At sea, there is no Great Wall; we build walls with our flesh and blood!"
This phrase was said to be spoken by the President when he initially founded the Northern Navy.
