Liusheng Dojo is a legitimate dojo.
But as a martial arts school teaching Fusang Swordsmanship, surviving for so many years in a place as martial as Tianmen City relies on more than just legitimate skills.
Teaching Swordsmanship is genuine, and the instructors are real, too. It's just that there are no local students; all are recruited from back home—young women, told they are going to the mainland to train in swordsmanship.
Room and board are provided, with rewards for excellent performance. After completing the training, they can get a graduation certificate, find work in Tianmen, or even possibly marry a local man.
The dojo truly offers services like hot springs, dining, massages, and dance performances, yet it does not operate openly, instead adopting a member referral system. Without a VIP membership card, they won't even acknowledge you.
