Chapter 433 - Chapter 434: Nothing is Real

Till now, neither Kaida nor Orochimaru went all out in their fight. Both were just testing the waters, at least till Orochimaru was still holding his kunai in his hand.

As soon as he dropped the kunai, the whole atmosphere around the area changed like someone had changed air with oil. The thick amount of killing intent Orochimaru released was enough to make any normal person faint from shock.

And the result of his actions were successful. The boy in front of him was visibly shaken by the sudden bloodthirst directed at him. Any person who had not gone to war doesn't know how effective this simple thing was, breaking the person from inside. But to his surprise, the boy quickly calmed himself.

Way before he could take any advantage of his state, Orochimaru also sensed the movement of a high amount of Yang chakra moving inside the boy's body.

'The more I see it, the more I am feeling the need of dissecting this specimen,' Orochimaru almost quivered thinking about the results when he will get his hands on Kaida.

To his surprise, the boy also stored away his sword and was now ready for the fight of ninjutsu.

"Quite brave of you," Orochimaru could not stop himself from saying. The boy had really piqued his curiosity. But this time there was no comeback from Kaida's side. His Sharingan was constantly trying to put Orochimaru in genjutsu, but that bloody snake was not even looking toward his face, only reading his moves through the movement of his muscles.

The fighting style developed by the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju himself, due to which Kaida couldn't use his best card against Orochimaru at all.

Though there was also a way for him to use genjutsu without even looking in Orochimaru's eyes, he was not ready to use that this early in the battle and when Orochimaru was focusing on every fucking movement of his muscles.

Suddenly, Orochimaru lost patience, and with just a single blur of hand signs, a barrage of wind blades came his way.

If Kaida didn't have Sharingan, he wouldn't have been able to counter all of the invisible wind blades at all, even after sensing all of them.

But now, with him seeing them coming directly at him, he was more than ready for them. Before the blades even covered half the distance, Kaida moved from the focal point of the attack, while his hand moved like a blur as well.

The few blades who were still targeting him met with a wind blade each from Kaida's side, either dispersing them or moving their direction.

Orochimaru didn't wait to see the result as he had already flickered himself behind Kaida. Normally, others would be busy countering the invisible blades to pay much attention to him, giving him a perfect chance to end the battle early without giving the enemy much chance to retaliate.

But this time he was against the eyes that even gods desired. Even when Kaida was focusing on the wind blades, he was still well aware of Orochimaru's position perfectly.

By the time Orochimaru flickered behind him, he was already done with the wind blades and was now looking toward him. Kaida knew this was not the main attack, it was just a distraction for the next attack.

And he was correct. The moment Orochimaru appeared behind Kaida, his hands were already moving faster than normal eyes can see.

But Kaida started mimicking every hand seal as well as the chakra pathway his chakra was moving and moulding. There was just a difference of a few microseconds between both his and Orochimaru's movements.

Soon, an obscene amount of fire chakra came out of the mouths of both of them, forming the shape of menacing dragons in the air. With the amount of Yin chakra in the attack, Kaida was pretty sure the attack was more than capable of targeting him like a guided missile, even when he evaded it.

Luckily, he also had some on his side. Dragons from both sides roared, or did something similar which appeared like roaring as fire came out of their mouths and moved toward each other.

All three directions - left, right, and forward - were covered by the dragons. Seeing the jutsu in action, Kaida remembered the description of the jutsu from the clan archive.

Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet.

Even though it was just a B-rank jutsu, in destructive power alone, it was capable of even going against S-rank ninja. And since Kaida had used this jutsu for the first time, it was just a copy of the original, and the effects were shown in the collision of the jutsu.

His jutsu was obliterated by Orochimaru's jutsu, even though all dragons had faded. Since Orochimaru had more power behind the attack, the impact of the blast was majorly pushed toward Kaida.

Seeing a wave of superheated air coming toward him, Kaida had no choice but to flicker aside, towards the only place where there was a semblance of safety from the blast.

Though that also meant...

"So predictable. An Uchiha always thinks he is the best because he can copy a jutsu, forgetting they are using is just that, a copy," Orochimaru said, plunging out this kunai from Kaida's leg. Even though he had targeted Kaida's kidney, he was able to evade the attack at the last second, though not completely.

Quickly throwing a chakra-enhanced punch toward Orochimaru, who had already flickered back by now.

Kaida didn't press on the attack as his hand started to glow green, and he gently placed them on his leg. With speed visible to the naked eye, his wound closed like it was never there, and a drop of green liquid fell on the ground.

"Using poison, are you really so weak? Make me wonder why everyone thinks of you as some big shot?" Kaida said, maintaining his eye contact with Orochimaru.

"Don't even try. I know you have just closed the outer wound. It is still fresh inside. Not even Tsunade will be able to heal herself like that," Orochimaru said, taking the fight into close combat. In case of an injured enemy, this was the most efficient way to win the fight.

Kaida had also taken out his sword and was easily parrying his sword attacks. Even though Orochimaru was more experienced than him for sure, kenjutsu was one thing he took pride in.

With his Sharingan, there was no feint attack he can't see, no move he can't predict, or so he thought. But Orochimaru was challenging that belief every second, attacking at angles that shouldn't have been possible.

But Kaida was also focusing on something else the whole fight along with healing his injury subtly.

"You are a shadow clone," Kaida said, with enough certainty like he was telling the direction of the sun rise. Listening to that, Orochimaru was genuinely shocked for the first time in the fight. He had tried years researching a way to find the difference between a shadow clone and a real person and failed in doing so every time.

This was the perfect jutsu developed by the Second Hokage to counter Uchiha, so how the hell was this boy able to tell the difference? Kaida could see Orochimaru being taken aback by the revelation.

He was having a very bad craving of flexing how he saw that Orochimaru was evading every attack of his, even when he could have taken them head-on to end the fight much earlier, like he was afraid of even a tiny bit of damage.

That wouldn't have been the case unless the person in front of him is a shadow clone.

But Kaida controlled his craving. A confused enemy is the best type of enemy to face. Alas, he had piqued the curiosity of a scientist. Without replying anything, the shadow clone started forming hand signs. Kaida became alert at that, trying to figure out which jutsu he is going to use next.

Alas, he was too late to figure that out.

"Oh no you don't," he shouted, running toward the clone with his sword drawn, ready to slice it in half when...
