Chapter 3 - Married to my celebrity crush

Tim was filming an action scene when a light crashed next to him. Justin, his manager, created a stir about his safety.

"What is up with the preparations?"How do you think Tim will film given these conditions? What if he was injured? Do you realize how important his body and face are?" Justin, without realising blew the situation out of proportion.

During filming, the safety of everyone present is the priority, but it does not always ensure smooth functioning every time. However such accidents are always condemned when they involve top artists.

The director expressed regret for the trouble, but it still didn't work to mollify Justin.

"It's okay." Tim, breaking his silence, asks Justin to quit making a scene. Justin, definitely not happy with Tim's decision, walks out of the filming set fuming with rage.

The director requests to continue since it is getting late in the day. They can not afford to keep delaying the shoot.

Tim follows Justin to urge him to move on from the incident and not bring it up in front of Meesha and his mother.

Frustrated, Justin finally yields to Tim.

(Tim filming a scene)Tim jumps off the balcony and runs behind the masked man. He brings out his gun and shoots in the air.

"Cut!" exclaims the director, complimenting Tim's acting. "Good job everyone. Pack up. The remaining scenes will be shot in Bangkok."

Tim appreciates everyone's work and bids goodbye. Justin, who is constantly staring at his watch, warns Tim to move quickly or else he will not be able to board the flight. The fact that they should have been on the road by now and are still here irritates Justin.

Tim gives Justin a shoulder pat and tells him to calm down. Tim makes fun of him, saying, "I bet your wife will not let you in if you continue to frown."

"Okaaay, let us go now," Justin said, getting into the car.

**********

Meesha returns to her room after breakfast. The storm in her mind hasn't subsided and she's unable to think about anything.

No matter how you look at it, it just doesn't seem normal. Meesha has always lived in a world of stories and fantasies. Now, as she becomes part of one herself, she's finding it hard to grasp the reality of it.

Meesha's eyes land on the photo frame. She flips the photo on the drawer over and looks at it.

"Oh! It's me. My wedding photo," Meesha scoffs, her eyes suddenly enlarge, "Tim? But he is...he is Tim James". Meesha gasped, her hands trembling.

Tim James has always been Meesha's celebrity crush. Looking at her own wedding picture, with her celebrity crush, Meesha forgets to breathe. She keeps her hand on her heart only to find it racing crazily.

She blinks her eyes hastily until she realizes what she is seeing is true.

She stands up, startled. Moving back and forth while whispering to herself, "This is definitely her dream."

"Hahaha, what a stupid dream! Or perhaps I really did travel through time."

Meesha recalls watching TV shows where characters traveled through time. But she wonders if anything like that has happened to her.

"No, I was not in the water or hit my head, so what could be the reason? Should I try something to travel back?" Being overly dramatic, Meesha has always opted for filmy solutions whenever she found herself in a predicament.

"Nah!! Why would I do something so silly? Nothing works. I have seen a lot of dramas like that."

Just when Meesha was again sneaking into her fantasy world, she noticed a shadow on the floor. She turns around; someone is listening to her. She holds onto her dress, swallows, and walks steadily towards the shadow.

"Ahhhh!!! Meesha screams as she finally uncovers the shadow.

It's her mother-in-law. Mom gave Meesha a hard look. "Why did you yell? Am I a ghost? Mom cried.

Meesha apologizes and admits that she mistook her for a stranger. She swears she will check before screaming next time.

"You still want this to happen again," mother retorts.

"No, that's not what-"

"Never mind, I came to tell you that Tim will be returning home tonight. So I am heading back. Papa is alone back home," says Mom.

Meesha didn't want Mom to go back. She still has many questions in her head. And she is just an ordinary girl who became a wife overnight. How will she handle everything on her own?

"I was wondering if you could ask Papa to come here. He can spend some time with us before returning together," asks Meesha, her heart pounding.

Mom is lost in thought, considering everything carefully. She nods thoughtfully and says, "I believe this is a good idea. He certainly needs a break from his hectic schedule." A bright smile spreads across her face as she adds, "Let's do this!"

Meesha lets out a relieved sigh, realizing this is just the start—there's so much more ahead. With a playful smile, she chuckles to herself, thinking, "Let's enjoy the moment for now."
