Meliora asked that question with a quiet, calm, and almost detached voice. She wasn't looking at him, her sight was still focused on her older brother, who remained lying there on the ruins of Conrad's former closet.
Even when the blade of the Flowing Sword Fafnir was pointed at him, he didn't make a single move. He almost seemed detached from the situation, which was out of character for him.
