"Is Vice Admiral Rorschach not planning to act? I see some Marine soldiers already seem to be injured."
On the city wall, Cobra looked down at the chaotic battlefield with worry, still uneasy.
It wasn't that he lacked faith in these Marine soldiers.
It was simply that the enemy's numbers were too overwhelming.
Two hundred against three thousand, a fifteen-fold disparity, not to mention an enemy Shichibukai like Crocodile in the opposing ranks.
Facing an enemy of this strength, Cobra inwardly questioned himself: if it were his own Royal Guard, they would likely have been crushed by now.
Detecting the worry in Cobra's tone, Rorschach merely chuckled, "Don't worry, a gem cannot be polished without friction. I can't solve all dangers and difficulties for them as their superior. I brought them out to temper them into excellent Marine soldiers. Without strength, justice cannot be defended."
With that, Rorschach changed the subject, "How is Princess Vivi? Is she alright?"
"Vivi is fine, just a little exhausted mentally, and she's already asleep." A benevolent smile appeared on Cobra's face. "I truly must thank Vice Admiral Rorschach this time. If not for your help..."
"Ah," Rorschach waved his hand. "Uncle Cobra, you're too formal. See, I call you 'Uncle Cobra' even though you're a king; you can just call me Rorschach. Also, please don't mention thanks again; this is what we Marines are supposed to do."
Cobra nodded, saying no more, only a hint of relief and gratitude in his eyes.
Strong, tall, handsome, and humble.
What a wonderful young man.
In Cobra's eyes, Rorschach was becoming more and more admirable.
'Sigh, if only Rorschach were from my Alabasta. My Nefertari Royal Family hasn't produced such a talent in who knows how many years,' Cobra sighed inwardly.
On the desert battlefield below, the corpses of zombies and Flower Country soldiers already littered the ground.
The two hundred Marine soldiers had also exhausted their Sky Island Dial weapons and were struggling to hold on under the assault of opponents ten times their number.
Many were, more or less, injured.
"Charge! Kill them! These Marines can't hold on! Don't retreat, everyone attack! Kill them to avenge my grandfather!"
Sai swung his naginata, stained with blood, striking a Marine Lieutenant Junior Grade who flew backward, spitting out a large mouthful of blood.
Behind him, a large number of Happo Navy warriors followed closely, surging forward.
"Let one of you die first! Eight-Impact Fist! Martial Leg!"
Sai, charging forward, raised his right leg high, bringing it down towards the head of the fallen Marine Lieutenant Junior Grade.
"Aaa-da!"
A round, snow-white blur bounced into view. From its furry, round body, a large foot in a military boot suddenly shot out, kicking Sai in the stomach before his foot could fully descend.
"Gah!" Blood shot out from between Sai's teeth, and he stumbled backward seven or eight meters, knocking over more than a dozen Happo Navy warriors.
"Lieutenant Bepo, thank you." The Marine Lieutenant Junior Grade, struggling to get up from the ground, gratefully thanked Bepo, who stood in front of him in a White Crane Spreading Wings stance.
"Be careful, these people are not weak. Don't let the Vice Admiral look down on us." Bepo, blushing from the thanks, tilted his chin and reminded him in a childlike voice.
"Yes, sir! I will not bring shame to the Vice Admiral!"
Hearing that, the Lieutenant Junior Grade pulled a glowing lightning ball from his pocket and slapped it into his chest with a thwap.
The next moment, he grunted, clear veins bulging on his face. With a roar, he ignored the blades swinging at him, charged into the crowd, and unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, instantly breaking the bones of over ten people, sending them screaming.
"Abu! Block him!" Sai roared from the crowd.
"Understood, Big Brother! Watch me chop him!"
The burly man called Abu by Sai, swinging a giant battle-axe like a door, leaped out from the crowd, soaring high, and brought his axe down towards the Marine Lieutenant Junior Grade's head.
"Don't gang up on him, you bastards!"
"Soru!"
"Rankyaku!"
Bepo tapped his foot, his round body surprisingly agile. With a whoosh, he shot out, his right leg swirling in the air, unleashing a vacuum kick. A three to four-meter-long arc of a slash whistled through the air, severing the handle of Abu's giant axe as it swung down.
"Abu! Watch out for that bear!" Sai pushed away the Happo Navy warrior who came to help him, swinging his naginata at the leaping Bepo, trying to force Bepo away from his brother, but it was already too late.
Bepo, seemingly without leverage in mid-air, stomped his foot. The air exploded with a bang, and the bear's entire body surged forward another seven or eight meters, dodging Sai's naginata attack, and poked a finger into Abu's neck, who couldn't avoid it.
Puch!
With a crisp sound, Abu's thick neck was pierced by his finger, leaving a clear blood hole. Scarlet blood immediately spurted out from the gruesome opening.
"Big Brother!" Abu's eyes widened. He felt all his strength rapidly draining, his vision darkening, and his powerful body softly collapsing forward.
"No! Damn white bear, I'll kill you!"
Sai's eyes immediately turned red. He let out a hysterical roar, discarded the naginata in his hand, stomped on the ground, shattering it, and threw a punch at Bepo.
"Eight-Impact Fist!"
Bepo turned, but his eyes weren't on Sai; instead, he looked up at the sky.
In the sky, a bright full moon hung high, directly in the center, appearing clear and luminous.
As Bepo's eyes caught sight of the high-hanging full moon, his pupils immediately turned blood red. His small body rapidly expanded and grew taller, casting large shadows over the charging Sai.
A large amount of snow-white fur grew wildly from all over Bepo's body, tearing through his clothes.
His fingernails and toenails transformed into thick beast claws, and his body had now grown to nearly five meters tall.
A ferocious aura erupted from him, making the surrounding Happo Navy soldiers' faces turn pale, frightening them into constantly retreating.
"What kind of monster are you? A Zoan-type Devil Fruit user? But even if you are a Devil Fruit user, you'll die for killing my brother!"
Sai's heart was startled, but his fist still slammed towards Bepo's neck.
"Roar!!"
Bepo opened his mouth and roared, revealing a mouthful of snow-white fangs.
As the sound wave exploded like thunder, his large, white-furred body suddenly vanished from Sai's sight.
"Where is he?" Sai's punch missed, stirring up a gust of wind in the air in front of him.
Puch!
Blood spurted out. Sai's eyes widened, and a piercing pain shot through his back.
Bepo, over five meters tall, had instantly appeared behind him, raking a claw across his back, tearing Sai's clothes on his back and ripping open four bone-deep wounds.
"Leader!" The Happo Navy warriors cried out in alarm.
"Fire! Open fire now!"
Bang bang bang!Bang bang bang!
Intense gunshots rang out, and clusters of blood immediately burst open on Bepo's towering body.
However, these piercing pains, far from making the blood-eyed Bepo flee from the injured Sai, ignited an even greater ferocity in him.
Bepo roared repeatedly, wildly swinging his arms, pushing aside Sai's hands that tried to block his attack. In Sai's terrified eyes, he opened his fearsome, fanged mouth and bit down hard on Sai's neck, tearing fiercely.
The surrounding Happo Navy warriors, firing their guns, heard only a crisp tear. Their leader, Sai, the newly appointed Thirteenth Leader of the Happo Navy, had his neck bitten off and shredded by the terrifying white bear.
Blood from his neck spurted into the air like water from a high-pressure hose, a fountain that made the surrounding warriors' eyes split with rage.
"The Leader is dead! It's over! The Happo Navy's legacy will be broken! Kill! Kill him! Everyone attack!"
Seeing Sai dead, the remaining Happo Navy soldiers all turned red-eyed, charging at Bepo like madmen, swinging their swords.
"Roar!!"
The five-meter-tall Bepo let out an even louder roar, dropping Sai's slumped head. He dropped to all fours, like a bloodthirsty beast, and crashed into the surging crowd, stirring up a bloody storm.
In the distance, Law, seeing the carnage, frowned deeply.
"That Bepo kid, he actually used his Sulong form."
Sulong form is the Mink Tribe's exclusive racial ability.
Every Mink warrior, on a full moon night, if they see the full moon in the sky, will go berserk, transforming into a bloodthirsty beast that recognizes no one.
In Sulong form, Mink warriors will experience rapid hair growth, increased body size, and explosive power, but at the same time, they will lose their ability to distinguish friend from foe and fall into a bloodthirsty frenzy.
During the brief moment of distraction caused by Bepo's berserker state, a black fist came crashing down, making Law instantly flicker away, appearing dozens of meters away as if teleporting.
"Don't run, coward! Fight me like you did before, you Marine brat!"
Seeing Law escape again, Boo's anger surged.
He stomped on the ground repeatedly, creating deep craters, and charged at Law with a muffled roar.
"ROOM! Command Stick!"
Law rapidly waved his hands. Between him and Boo, zombie soldiers, Happo Navy, and Sappo Navy were instantly moved, one after another, throwing them like sandbags at the charging Boo.
"Argh! This is annoying! What kind of damn ability is this?!"
Boo swung both fists, brutally sending the flying individuals sprawling, roaring with frustration.
This Marine's ability was somewhat unreasonable; his speed was astonishing, almost like teleportation.
Boo's speed was already fast enough, yet he couldn't catch up to the opponent no matter what.
And to be harassed and obstructed like this, it made Boo's composure falter.
Seeing that he couldn't catch Law, who was as slippery as an eel, Boo could only roar and change direction, charging towards the other Marines.
"I'll take care of the other Marines first, then I'll come back for you!"
He furiously stomped and dashed, then saw a tall figure standing out in the crowd.
It was a Marine soldier with conspicuous long earlobes.
Looking at the uniform he was wearing, he seemed to be a Third Class Private.
"A mere Third Class Private, actually on the battlefield. The Marines must really be in decline."
A cruel sneer appeared on Boo's lips. His body darted like a phantom, and he threw a punch at the back of the Third Class Private's head.
He wanted to smash the Marine soldier's head like a watermelon to vent his frustration.
Smash!
The heavy fist missed its target. The Third Class Private in front of him vanished with a whoosh, leaving behind a tiny electrical arc.
"Don't think that just because you have that power, you can defeat me like that bastard." Enel floated dozens of meters in the sky, pointing a finger at the stunned Boo below. "If I can't deal with that bastard, can't I deal with you?"
"80 Million Volt Discharge! Heavenly Judgment!"
Boom!
A colossal lightning pillar, thick as an ancient tree, crashed down with lightning speed, striking Boo's massive body.
"Argh!"
Boo was completely enveloped by the thick, terrifying lightning pillar, writhing and screaming dully from the electric shock.
The terrifying lightning with its powerful penetrating ability couldn't be completely resisted even by his Armament Haki.
In just a few seconds, his clothes were scorched by the lightning, sticking to his charred flesh, making him feel as if he were undergoing torture.
Boo, his head dazed from the sudden lightning pillar, looked up with somewhat glazed eyes at Enel, who extended his finger to strike again.
"Is this a damn Third Class Private?! Are you Marines blind?! Or are you messing with me?!"
He gritted his teeth and squatted down. The lightning-scorched skin on his calves immediately ruptured from the bulging muscles underneath, making Boo let out another muffled groan.
Boom!
With an explosive sound, the ground beneath his feet shattered. The powerful recoil propelled him skyward like a rocket, shooting towards Enel in the sky.
"Courting death." Enel narrowed his eyes, spreading his five fingers. Shining lightning dragons erupted from his palm, rapidly expanding, baring their fangs and claws as they dove down from the sky, shooting towards the ascending Boo.
"100 Million Volt Discharge! Thunder Dragon Swarm!"
"Damn it!"
Boo's face, somewhat scorched by the electricity, was illuminated by seven or eight lightning dragons rushing towards him, making it turn stark white. He couldn't help but curse under his breath.
Immediately, without hesitation, he stomped his foot in the air, creating a blast of air, and turned his body in mid-air, shooting off into the distance.
He wanted to escape.
This fight was unwinnable.
This lightning-wielding Marine was not only another speed-type opponent, but his attack power was far stronger than that brat from before.
This terrifying lightning power, even his formidable Armament Haki, couldn't withstand it.
Just these Marines alone were giving them such a hard time, and even Sai had died.
And the officer of these people, Vice Admiral Rorschach, who had killed Chinjao, was still sitting comfortably on the city wall, watching the battle.
He had just seen with his own eyes Crocodile's corpse, impaled on the city wall by the Dragon Drill.
Boo wanted to escape, but how could his escape speed compare to the speed of lightning?
He only heard rolling thunder in his ears, and the next moment, Boo's powerful body was engulfed by lightning dragons baring their fangs and claws.
Rumble rumble rumble!
Terrifying lightning flashed and roared in mid-air, the scattered sparks electrifying hundreds of people nearby, making them wail and shriek.
Those zombie soldiers, who claimed to be immortal warriors, seemed particularly afraid of Enel's lightning, running away scrambling.
Some who couldn't run fast enough even buried their heads in the sand like ostriches.
Boo's strength was indeed immense; he was still not completely defeated under the impact of hundreds of millions of volts of lightning dragons.
His body was covered in pitch-black Armament Haki. Each step covered dozens of meters. He was almost using all his strength, only wanting to escape this hellhole.
Crack!
A lightning bolt descended from nowhere onto the top of a distant sand dune. Enel's figure appeared, his face revealing an undisguised look of mockery, which enraged Boo.
"Arrogant Marine brat! Watch me kill you! Eight-Impact Fist! Armament Spike!"
The sand within dozens of meters around him collapsed with a roar. His entire body shot out like a cannonball, head-on colliding with Enel.
Enel's lips curved into a smirk. His slender body swelled and grew taller, transforming into a lightning-shining Great Buddha. He put his hands together, pushing out a thunderous pillar of lightning over ten meters thick. With a boom, it shot out like a brilliant laser beam, striking Boo head-on.
"200 Million Volt Discharge! Raigo!"
Rumble rumble rumble!Crackle crackle crackle!
Boo, completely hit by two hundred million volts of lightning, was bathed in terrifying lightning. His powerful body trembled like an epileptic. The Armament Haki covering his body rapidly faded away at a visible speed, completely consumed by the super-high voltage lightning power.
The moment the Armament Haki covering him completely vanished, under the brilliant lightning, Boo didn't even have time to scream. His powerful body was carbonized by the lightning, and then, even the charred remains were shattered and dispersed into black dust in the air.
"So this is the Goro Goro no Mi ability, the top-tier Logia Devil Fruit ability, with destructive power comparable to magma," Law observed from afar.
Boo, whose strength far surpassed his own, died under Enel's lightning bombardment without even touching Enel's clothes.
His bones and corpse were gone, even his ashes scattered.
And at this moment, Enel hadn't even awakened Armament Haki.
It's absurd.
This shows just how terrifying that Rorschach kid's strength truly is.
Law now truly found it harder and harder to fathom Rorschach's depth.
"Marine! You're distracted! Look out for my sword!"
A zombie samurai wearing geta sandals and a kimono, holding a black long sword with serrated patterns, swung a slash.
The chilling sword light made Law's gaze sharpen.
"Nose-song Three Verse! Arrow-Feather Slash!"
The zombie samurai quickly rushed forward, instantly brushing past Law, his right hand gripping his black sword, making a sheathing motion.
Law's face changed slightly. His cursed sword Kikoku appeared out of nowhere in his hand. He gripped it and held it vertically in front of him, adopting a blocking stance.
Clang!
With a loud bang, the blade of the Kikoku trembled in his hand, and a line of blood burst open on Law's chest.
"What fast sword moves. Zombie, who are you?"
Law held his sword in his right hand, looking at the kimono-clad zombie who had turned around.
"Yohahaha, I don't know who I am either, but this body belonged to Ryuma Shimotsuki, a great swordsman from the Land of Wano two hundred years ago, a powerful swordsman capable of slaying flying dragons. Guest, are you a swordsman too?"
Zombie Ryuma let out an eerie laugh, looking at Law.
Law shook his head. "I shouldn't be considered a pure swordsman. I'm a doctor. The sword in my hand is my surgical knife."
"A doctor? A doctor like Hogback? Yohahaha, well then, be careful, guest, be careful my sword doesn't cut your precious surgical knife. This sword is Ryuma Shimotsuki's beloved sword, the legendary Great Grade sword, Shusui."
Ryuma leaned forward, stomped his wooden geta, and spun around, shooting forward, directly thrusting his black sword.
"Night Requiem! True Thrust!"
The spinning black sword let out a chilling whistle, its sharp aura stinging the face.
Law's left hand spun air currents, and a transparent罩 was cast down. His right hand extended Haki over Kikoku, slashing diagonally from bottom to top.
Swish!
The desert ground in front split open with a cut dozens of meters long. Ryuma, charging forward, showed a hint of surprise in his eyes. His body silently split into two halves, separating past Law, and surged forward for over ten meters before falling to the ground with two thuds.
The half of his body holding the black sword looked at Law in surprise. "Is that your sword technique? It's a technique I've never seen before. Yohahaha, truly powerful."
"It's a severance from surgery. It's my Devil Fruit ability. My apologies, Ryuma, swordsman from two hundred years ago, I cannot spar with you as a pure swordsman." Law stopped in front of Ryuma.
"No, it is I who have failed this body. A surgical knife is also a blade, guest. I acknowledge you. Can you tell me your name?" On Ryuma's split halves, black shadows struggled, seemingly trying to break free from his body.
"Trafalgar Law," Law said softly.
"Trafalgar Law? Very well, this legendary famous sword, Shusui, I give to you. I hope you will take good care of it."
Ryuma raised the black sword in his hand, his eyes slowly closing.
The next moment, a black shadow broke free from his body and rapidly fled towards the sky.
"My shadow! Don't even think about escaping!"
Just as the shadow was about to disappear into the sky, Moria's strange yell suddenly rang out.
Immediately, an invisible force spread out, restraining the shadow that had fled hundreds of meters away, dragging it back, and merging it into Moria's body.
The moment the shadow entered his body, Moria's bloated figure seemed to swell slightly. He bared his fanged mouth and swung his twin blades, slashing at Hibari.
"Marine brat, aren't you a Logia user? I've never seen such a weak Logia user. Come, let me see how many more tricks you have."
