"Spill everything! Don't you dare hide a single thing!" Wang Xiuhe bellowed, her gaze cold as she stared down Wang Ming.
"Sister Xue, it's just a longsword I got from a junk collector. I'm just playing around with it," Wang Ming said, thinking fast as he spun the lie.
Suddenly, this sword doesn't feel so simple. It's like... it's something beyond my reach.
"Where did you get it?" Jiang Xue asked, her sharp tone scaring Wang Ming out of his wits.
Jiang Xue's gaze, however, remained exceedingly cold. She was clearly very interested in the weapon, as her stunning, beautiful eyes never left the sword for a moment.
"A cripple sold it to a junk collector, and I bought it off him..." Wang Ming's heart skipped a beat, and he was careful not to mention Qin Long's name.
After all, I can't admit I snatched it from a disabled fool. That would be utterly classless.
