Qin Long let out a helpless sigh. This was an experience gained from years of battle in the army: either one side ruled supreme, or various factions gathered to squabble amongst themselves. Zi'er simply smiled faintly without speaking.
「Back at the Tang Family courtyard.」
Having just bathed, Tang Xuewu, dressed in her pajamas, quietly slipped into Qin Long's room.
"A-Long, the more I think about it, the more something seems off," she said softly, her pretty face filled with confusion. "Did you recognize the man in that video?"
As soon as she had gotten home, Tang Xuewu began to ponder the matter. It was just too coincidental that Qin Long would fall and destroy Tiantian's phone at that exact moment. Upon closer scrutiny, the incident was riddled with holes. She recalled the look on his face and the timing of it all. He definitely threw the phone into the hot pot on purpose. But why? Only Qin Long himself knew the answer.
