"What's the trouble?" Tang Xuewu frowned at Qin Long.
"I know my own condition very well. Normal methods can't cure it," Qin Long explained honestly. "Besides, I already have a way, but it requires a specific medicinal herb."
However, Tang Xuewu thought he was just brushing her off.
"Qin Long, can you please be a bit more reasonable?" she pleaded. "Some of what my mother says makes sense. If you would just prove yourself, she wouldn't deliberately pick on you. And as for all those other things... I just can't..."
Tang Xuewu trailed off, unable to bring herself to say the words. She didn't want to expose him completely and leave him utterly humiliated. But Qin Long just kept lying, one time after another. Even after being caught, he continued to spin his tall tales.
